For the sake of your sanity, don’t buy this POS, I received the first one and the starter terminal/ignition bolt was loose and spun inside the housing. I decided not to put myself through having to change it right away again and returned it. Return was easy didn’t have a problem with that. Got the new one same problem, I thought well maybe that’s supposed to be that way even though every starter I’ve ever changed has never been that way, me being a dummy… and honestly wanting my vehicle back because my daughter is sitting in driveway not running, and I’ve been with her. I know how she drives. My DumbA**put it on the car and the car didn’t wanna start normally for a couple months, i knew it would happen. So I waited until my daughter complained about it long enough that I finally Went to return it and order another one. Most definitely not this starter again .But unfortunately I was like a week past my return cut off period. I just went and bought one at O’Reilly and it was much more solid much sounder. More expensive yes, but not a POS straight out of the box. The starter terminal in the O’Reilly starter was solid like the starter I took off the car to begin with. so if you do, in fact order, the starter is junk starter, and the little bolt not the big bolt. The wire stuck to the little one wiggled and spins inside of it don’t bother putting it on your car. Just send it back before you even think about it it’s gonna save you a lot of headache

2005 Chevy Malibu 3.5l perfect fit and works great. Update: Bought one in July and lasted till November, buy if you need one cheap but may leave you in a wal-mart parking lot at 10pm.

I was skeptical about ordering this starter due to the low price. The new starter was exactly like the one I pulled off and it has been installed for a week now with no issues.
