This is a GREAT family set. I was in desperate search for a doll family for my 2 year old's dollhouse that were easy for her to pose and stand up, but weren't horrendously ugly. That's a fairly tall order, until we found these. I also have the Melissa and Doug Victorian family, and though I prefer those dolls in style, they are more "barbie-like" - bendable plastic. They don't pose easily and they have tiny little feet and though they CAN stand up, it's not something that's easy to do consistently, and it's impossible for my daughter.These are fantastic. They are far cuter in person than the pictures. I love that they're wood and all non-toxic. They all have over-sized feet that make them super easy to stand, and they bend and pose easily. We use them in a 1:12 scale dollhouse with Le Toy Van furniture and it's easy to bend their legs at the knees to have them sit in chairs.All their limbs are rope-covered wire. My husband thinks the Dad looks like a dork (he does), but that's our only complaint. One note - all the dolls have a block for a torso with the rope limbs extending from it... so you can't really pull the pants or skirts down lower than mid-waist because they'll fall off. It's not a big deal at all, but it's not obvious from the picture why all the pants/skirts are pulled up so high!If I was designing my perfect doll family, I wish there was an option for a same-gender siblings (we have two daughters and wanted a doll family to mimic her real family), but I know that Plan Toys sells individual boys and girls, so that's a nice option.

Would rate it 4 1/2 stars if that was an option. We purchased this along with dollhouse and furniture for our 3 yr. old. She has been very happy with it!The good: Plan Toys could not be greener! I am thrilled to spend my money with this company. Plant bases dyes, rubberwood that is no longer producing rubber, much thought about minimum packaging, etc. Figures seem durable. Are dressed pretty modernly in clothes our family might wear ourselves, overall I like the look of the figures. Our daughter is very much enjoying the imaginative play. Good pricing compared to what I found elsewhere. Somewhat poseable and the large feet make them able to stand.The bad: The dad's hair has to be the worst thing - it looks like a bad toupee! Due to being tossed around in the box, the little girl's hair was sticking up in the bangs...should really have had a little sheath to hold it in place during shipping, but I think not using one is part of the green effort. The mom's skirt will not stay on to the point where I'm going to have to glue it to the body.

I recently purchased a doll house for my daughter and looked long and hard for some dolls. These dolls are fantastic! I like the fact that they are "ethnic" and not just Caucasian. They are very durable and flexible and my daughter loves to play with them. I guess my only beef about the product would be that it had to come as a family and they all had only one skin tone. I am Hispanic but am very fair skinned and my daughter is mixed (Hispanic and African and American) and has slightly darker skin and very curly hair. I would have liked to be able to pick and choose the family members so that they looked a bit more like us, instead of a family that is all one race. However, overall I am very happy with this purchase and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I really like these no-frills wooden/wire dolls. They remind me of the way toys were made way back when. We've played with them for a year now and my daughter loves them. Aside from mom's hair getting a bit wild if you don't somehow fasten or hot-glue it down (I'm a hot-glue fanatic), these things might take years to destroy. The clothes don't come off, but I had to hot-glue mom's skirt to her body to keep it from falling off, same with dad's pants. They work perfectly in our Kidkraft Cherry Hill Dollhouse Deluxe (another great buy). Their arms and legs bend so they can sit and stand. We even made a little wooden baby to add to the happy little family.

This little family has joined ours! Seriously - they all just had dinner with us at the table tonight. Completely adorable - our daughter has loved them from the day she got them at 16 months (she is now 2). Of course now we've added the Victorian Dollhouse and lots of fun furniture. But even when it was just the doll set by themselves she loved it. We added then nursery set next which comes with a cute little baby! Very durable. I love that Plan Toys is eco-responsible and completely nontoxic. I am very picky about the toys I let her play with and this brand is GREAT!! Worth the price. I know we'll have these for a long time.

I wanted this for my daughter's upcoming dollhouse family. It was surprisingly hard to track down a Hispanic girl doll. This one is adorable. Sadly, the one I received is just in a magenta short sleeved pink dress. Not as adorable. It's still a Plan Toys Hispanic girl doll, and I'm sure my daughter will love it anyway. But it's never fun when you get something other than you expected.

Molto carini. Li ho comprati insieme ad altri pupazzetti simili per realizzare una famiglia mista. Peccato che nessuno abbia una pettinatura afro. Non è detto che i capelli afro li portino solo chi indossa abiti afro.

Ce sont des personnages en bois très mignons achetés avec la maison en bois.Ma fille joue souvent avec. Elle en est très contente.
