Great camera!
I use this camera for insurance inspections, and more and more of my customers want geotagged photos. Finding a rugged camera with built in GPS at this price was a great find! The photo quality is outstanding even at lower resolutions. Glad I bought it!

Amazing camera for Macro Still Photography
As a certified Scuba diver, I can tell you I would never use this camera for under water photography. Ive seen other reviews, say this, or that, is all that it is good for. However, there is one thing that this camera is exceptional for, for the size, and cost, and that is macro photography of still items. With its built in light ring, anti shake, and other features, for the costs it is one of the cheapest camera options for decent macro still photography I have found. I could only wish I was able to automatically save photos to a computer through wi-fi or Bluetooth so not to always be swapping SD cards.

Love the Ricoh rugged cameras
As a long term Pentax fan (I've lost count of how many I have owned) I love the color quality & durability. I started getting the WG series many years ago, and have steadily upgraded. I don't upgrade because they wear out (I sell them or give them away) but because new features, better imaging, and more rugged construction is available on the newer models. This one goes deeper, can survive harder drops, and has better imaging than previous models. I keep one in my computer bag for grab shots when I see something interesting. Just to give an idea of the strength - I have never had the lens scratch despite being in a crowded bag, never had any mechanical issues, and taken some really nice underwater photos. A plus is Ricoh has kept the same battery model throughout the series - so my investment in spare batteries is good. If you need a great underwater (to 60 feet or so) and drop proof (6 feet or so) camera, this is the way to go.

Great Camera
Great for snorkeling. We have 2 and use them in the Keys every time we go. Great for in the water or on land. Picture quality is best when it is sunny, had some pictures that looked blue when we went early and overcast but still ok

Terrible customer support!!!
I purchased a WG-6 camera. I haven't used it yet. This review is related to the Ricoh customer support. I tried for over an hour to register my new camera. The Web site registration does not work! I did a Chat with customer support. They couldn't help. I called the phone number they gave me. They couldn't help. I called the Ricoh Pentax Customer Service. They disconnected after a half hour hold. I have owned two WG-60 cameras. They are good point and shoot cameras. They are physically very durable but the electronics fail after a few years. Hopefully the WG-6 is more durable. Caveat Emptor...

Okay camera but there are better ones out there
Pros:The lens does not fog up like other underwater cameras.Takes great daytime outdoor pictures.Cons:Very slow to take picture and you will miss a shot in an action scene.Horrible at taking night time and indoor pictures no matter what shooting mode you use.The only good thing about this camera is that the lens does not fog up when going from water/wet conditions to dry conditions like other cameras we have. All other aspects of this camera are not worth spending the money for - see my cons comments. If only the Nikon Coolpix W300 lens did not fog up between wet and dry conditions, this would be the camera to purchase in lieu of this Ricoh.

Solid camera
Love the ease of use for our dentist office. Replacing older SLR type camera. One thing. Comes with a charging cored but not a downloading cord. If you use it without a card, you will need a cord. Not a big thing, though it would be nice if a cord was included. Located one on Amazon for $9 so not a deal breaker
