Excellent storyboards to color and display as lovely portraits
This book is more accurately described as a fold out page with an evolving scene and theme. It is however a nicely detailed coloring project that kept me entertained for many hours. The picture allows you to escape into the fantasy evolving before you to the point of wondering what became of the subjects after they moved on from this scene! I like how there are continued excercises on the back of the large picture to color and to even try your hand at drawing some characters of your own! These coloring pages are a little more expensive than most books , but they are well worth the price! Because these foldouts are more detailed, they keep me much more absorbed in what I'm doing to avoid errors. That being said, they may not be suited to beginners or for that matter people who just want a nice relaxing, simple picture to color. These are portraits to add color, depth and personality to, more than just splash some color onto. The extra effort that may be required however, is very worth the doing!

Absolutely Beautiful!!!
This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL and INTRICATE coloring book. It's not the traditional coloring book with something on each page and in book form, but is instead a fold out super long page. It depicts several scenes throughout this knight's life, or at least that's what it looks like to me! You dont even realize how intricate the drawings are until you start coloring them in and you notice small things like the way there's an archer's window in one of the brick walls that should be colored with blue for the sky, or the way the girl's hair is braided and thus needs to be colored with several colors of your chosen hair color-I chose yellows. This isnt nearly as intricate as the Medieval Scene book that is made by the same company, but it's still not for the feint of heart either. If you love coloring like I do, then this is the book for you. If you're just doing it recreationally and dont want anything too strenuous, then this may not be the coloring book style for you. When I have the book in front of me, I'll make sure to take and post pictures as there currently arent any on here for this book!!

Godspeed and The Accolade
This is my fourth purchase in this series of coloring books (Fairies, Dragons, Medieval Times) - all lovely. Where the other books were greyscale, this is line drawings. A good flow and selection of the knightly subject matter. What immediately drew my attention was the artist's homage to artist E. Blair Leighton's paintings "Godspeed" and "The Accolade" - prints I have hanging in my home and so recognized immediately - that are interspersed in the pages. As in the other books in this collection, good quality card stock, colors beautifully.

Enjoying the challenge
This has been very enjoyable to work on. I am enjoying the various pieces of known artwork that are combined here. A coworker also has this one and we have been discussing what to color the war horses..

Meaningful art, quality material
These are printed on heavy card, so ever though they are printed double-sided, both prints can be coloured vigorously without any bleed through or distortion from enthusiastic pencilling. The artwork is meaningful and not too cute.

Beautiful line art
The line art is beautiful and the uninterrupted art from one pane to the next. The paper thickness is super, but the cardboard is very smooth so I find pencils do not build so well in many layers
