Good fit with my mahogany Yamaha piano
The actual color looks more real than the picture and fits pretty well with my mahogany piano at home. There are 3 stickers that are meant to protect the wooden frame from being damaged from the pedals. These are not sticky at all and get off in first use. I put some other stickers I had and it didn't come off yet. Otherwise pretty nice product, very good for kids learning piano.

Nice wood pattern and color; fits well with my mahogany piano
Agree with everything mentioned in the earlier review. It is heavy, with a nice wood pattern instead of the plain color as shown in the picture. With a non-slippery rug underneath, it well stays in the place.

Beautiful
Beautiful, looks better than the picture. Very solid, does not move out of place, on tile floor. Works perfectly, and arrived faster than promised. Great purchase.

It has it's flaws, but it's great otherwise.
1. Where the younglings put their feet is slick and their heal often slides. I applied a light strip of carpet and that resolved that issue. 2. When you press down on the pedal there is resistance from the actual piano pedal. This makes the piano extender lift up and scoot. There's nothing to secure it down and it's not heavy enough on it's own (I own the wooden riser, I'd image the composite one is worse), plus the students that need this seldom weigh more than 50lbs. themselves. Using Velcro straps I wrapped them around the riser's backstop and the actual piano's pedal board. No more scooting and very little-to-none lifting. 3. Adjusting the pedal between students is not very simple. My pedal riser is very stiff and not easy to manipulate. My wife cannot do this on her own because it's very stiff and the chance of her hurting her fingers is real. It's set in the middle for most of the students to use. 4. Although there's a wingnut to put pressure on the adjustment screw to keep it from turning on its own, it works itself loose anyway and needs retightened often. I make a point to check them once a week or more if they're used a lot. 5. The pedal press pads are not adjustable side-to-side. We line up with the middle pedal and both the left and right pad are only 3/4 on the outer pedals (picture). So, out with the bad, now for the good. The kids are super excited to be able to use the pedal. They 'feel older' and 'more sophisticated' than the 'younger kids' haha. Parents are glad to see their kids excited to play. Overall it was a great purchase. It does work, it does function well, and we're glad we bought it.
