Was easy to replace Mighty Mule 500 motor in the arm. The only thing I had to modify was to grind down the shaft that the gear slides onto. It's about twice as long as needed, so cut in half. Heat the gear up, then put over shaft. Make sure you have the opposite side supported right under that shaft so that will you tap the gear onto the top side, it doesn't push the rod through the motor. So far, seems to work like original motor in gate.

I bought two of these to replace the drive motors on my kids' Peg Perego old-style Gator, as one of the old ones was shot and the other didn't sound good. These motors are a little shorter than the stock motors, but they work just as well. These motors are almost exactly the same speed as the originals, which is just what I was looking for. They've been working well for over a week of hard use (a full battery charge every day of driving over a large uneven area). The kids are glad to have the Gator back.EDIT: After one month of daily use one of these motors gave out. Some internal plastic parts looked melted, so it is probably running hot. I'm reducing my rating from 5 to 3 stars as a result.EDIT: The other motor (out of the two I bought) gave out a few days later. These just don't hold up.

The shaft was longer than the old one, but it worked fine without cutting it.

I just installed this product on my mighty mule gate opener 2Jan2024. The one listed on the mighty mule site costed 7x more. Three things to take note of: 1st, I had to salvage the old gear off my old motor as none of the three gears it shipped with fit. 2nd, I had to grind the motor's shaft down to the correct length. 3rd, I had to solder the wires from the old motor onto the new motor. I am not good at any of theses tasks but with a little ingenuity and about 45 minutes of effort I had the job done. I'll post a follow up to this if I have any future issues with this motor. **Update, it burned up after 2 days. The motor was the correct size and I thought it was a great fix but it just didn't last. It was worth a shot I guess.

Replacement for a Walmart hyper jammer kids scooter. I burnt out the motor from riding it myself. Seems to have a lot fastest top speed now. The kid and the neighbor kids are going to love it. ER visits here we come.

Used to replace drive motors on Best Choice ride-on jeep. These things are much stronger that the stock motors and faster as well. Had to replace both sides. With one replaced, the wheel with the new motor would peel out while in reverse. Two new motors and it’s about 50% faster and stronger from stop. Very pleased!
