Keto peeps: Best price for Erythritol!
1. Why Erythritol? 0 calories, 0 net carbs. For Erythritol/Keto newbies: Sugar alcohols do not count as carbs; this means: (a) your blood sugar level will not go up, and (b) it will not take you out of ketosis if you are doing Keto. Yes, I used a blood ketone meter to verify both (a) and (b). This is a good brand. 2. If you have never used Erythritol as a natural sugar substitute, I recommend getting a smaller bag to try before buying this huge 4 pound one. Make sure you have a use for it that works for you! 3. Once you are certain you want Erythritol, consider this one, especially with Amazon subscription pricing. I can't find a better price and I do keep looking! 4. For baked goods, use Swerve for best results, rather than straight Erythritol. Sometimes straight-up Erythritol is awesome, but wow, it really sucks when baking! (in my experience! Feel free to disagree! That said, I never tried baking with this brand, but chemically it ought to be the same as the others.) 5. I use this Erythritol every single day to sweeten my coffee, whether I'm doing Keto or not! Great with bulletproof/Keto coffee! 6. Suggestion: Try sprinkling this Erythritol liberally, along with cinnamon, on top of toasted and buttered Keto bread! If you miss having a sweet treat while doing Keto (i.e. staying in Ketosis) or otherwise trying to keep your blood sugar low, give this a try. 7. Yes there is Keto bread that is not the "fathead" recipe! It is least expensive (and most delicious and freshest!) if you make/bake it yourself rather than spending $8/loaf (if you can even find real Keto bread). Please note that you'll need to use Swerve to make your bread. You can use straight Erythritol on top of your Keto bread to make your cinnamon toast.

Tastes like sugar
Erythritol is really great as a sugar substitute. It tastes like sugar and doesn't have that weird aftertaste that Stevia has (though Stevia's not too bad if that's all you can have). I stopped using it for now because I read some recent headline about erythritol POSSIBLY having a negative effect on the heart for people who already have or are at risk of hereditary heart issues. This is just a headline, though, of some recent research on the effects of this sweetener which hasn't been verified. The jury is still out. Sorry, I don't have any kind of link to this research. I think this sweetener is fine for healthy people, but that's just my opinion. I might use the bag of erythritol I have left in some keto cakes and stuff, but not in my coffee like I been doing. But be aware of this research. It might end up being a false alarm.

Just like readl sugar
This product is very refined and a little goes a long way, I will certainly be buying this again. It does not leave any aftertaste in your mouth. It can be used in baked goods as good as real sugar.

Good Sugar Substitute in Small Quantities
I try to not use too much sugar. That's a difficult task to leave with my own self, so Whole Earth helps. It's definitely sweet, but does not taste just like sugar. I wouldn't bake with it, for example. Maybe it would work, but you might be better off following a Keto recipe rather than take a normal baking recipe and replace the sugar with any sugar substitute. That's just my opinion. But for a little sweetness in a cup of tea, this is a fantastic product. Just a small amount will sweeten a cup of tea or coffee. Too much and you'll get an artificial taste. I also use a sprinkling of this on a bowl of oatmeal. With winter around the corner, I'll be eating a lot of that! :) I can't speak on behalf of health benefits, but I appreciate taht this is a natural product and a good substitute in smaller amounts. Just my opinion. This 4 pound bag is a good value. The smaller containers available at most grocery stores are way more expensive by weight. It doesnt seem to go bad, so why not buy a larger quantity like this one?

A Sweet Revolution: Whole Earth Erythritol
I've recently made a significant switch in my kitchen, and it's all thanks to Whole Earth Erythritol. This product has completely transformed the way I approach sweetness in my diet, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Health Benefits: A Game Changer: One of the primary reasons I decided to try Whole Earth Erythritol was its impressive health benefits compared to processed sugar. Erythritol is a sugar alcohol that occurs naturally in some fruits and fermented foods. What sets it apart is its negligible calorie count and low glycemic index, making it an excellent choice for those managing their weight and blood sugar levels. Unlike regular sugar, erythritol doesn't spike blood glucose or insulin levels, making it a fantastic option for diabetics and those on a low-carb or keto diet. Taste and Texture: Just Like Sugar: I was initially skeptical about the taste and texture, but Whole Earth Erythritol has exceeded my expectations. It has a clean, sweet flavor without any of the bitterness or aftertaste that some other sugar substitutes can have. In terms of texture, it resembles granulated sugar closely, making it easy to use in all my favorite recipes. Whether I'm baking cookies, sweetening my coffee, or sprinkling it over fruit, Whole Earth Erythritol performs beautifully. Versatility: Endless Possibilities.... The versatility of this product is another highlight. I've used it in everything from baked goods to sauces, and it always delivers consistent results. It caramelizes nicely, which is a pleasant surprise since not all sugar substitutes can do that. Additionally, it dissolves well in both hot and cold beverages, making it a perfect all-purpose sweetener. Digestive Tolerance: No Unpleasant Surprises... One common concern with sugar alcohols is their potential to cause digestive discomfort. I'm pleased to report that Whole Earth Erythritol is gentle on my stomach. Unlike some other sugar alcohols, erythritol is absorbed into the bloodstream and excreted in the urine without being metabolized by gut bacteria, which minimizes the risk of digestive issues. Eco-Friendly Packaging: A Thoughtful Touch... Whole Earth has also put thought into their packaging. The resealable bag helps keep the product fresh and makes it easy to store. The design is attractive and informative, giving you confidence in the quality of what's inside. Conclusion: A Smart and Sweet Choice... Switching to Whole Earth Erythritol has been one of the best decisions for my health and culinary adventures. It offers a guilt-free way to enjoy sweetness, with significant health benefits over processed sugar. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to make a positive change in their diet without sacrificing flavor. Whether you're managing diabetes, following a low-carb diet, or simply aiming for a healthier lifestyle, Whole Earth Erythritol is a fantastic choice.
