New Application
I did not use this product on an uneven wall rather on wooden baseboard, crown molding and door trim. I wanted to see if it would prevent the leaks onto the wood that happened occasionally even with the green Frog tape. I did not use the applicator as it was difficult to use on the wood trim that was over head, rather I used a small paint brush to apply the sealer. I must say it worked great and I had VERY little leakage onto the wood. I will not use regular tape again in this application. The extra cost over regular is far exceeded by the lack of going back to clean leakage off the wood.

Follow Instructions
Tape is not 100%, but works well. Follow instructions on sealer bottle. Forget the applicator use a 1" polyester brush instead and a small paper cup for sealer. Make sure the tape is well pressed down before pressing down again with damp cotton cloth. Then using the brush apply sealer to just the tape edge to be sealed overlapping a little onto the surface to be painted. Do not firmly press the entire width of tape when applying maybe 1/4" of edge to be sealed. Surface I taped over was good latex paint with a 6 month cure. When removing tape 'slowly' a few flecks of paint came off with the tape. Removed the tape about 45 min. after the second coat. A little touch up was required, but not serious. Not sure about use on poor quality paint and short cure times. Over all the tape works OK - follow instructions - use small brush not the applicator. Sealer is water soluble, clean brush immediately after use.

Not a crisp edge, expensive, and a waste of time and money
Extremely Disappointed in this product, would not recommend again, and would not use again. I have had equal or even better luck with a standard blue or green painters tape. After watching the video on how to use and following the instructions exactly: 1) The edge sealer solution bled under the frog tape, leaving spots of "glossy" under the tape and on the base color of the wall and ceiling. I now have to touch up the edges of the ceiling where the solution hit the corner of the wall/ceiling. 2) the accent color also bled under the tape, leaving a rough edge that is FAR from crisp. 3) This tape actually removed paint from the base color, which was painted 2 years ago. I left the tape on for between 2 and 3 days, far less than the advertised 14 day removal. So even ignoring the fact that this product is expensive, it simply did not work as advertised. The result is so bad I am going to repaint the entire wall a solid color. This adventure was a large waste of time and money; I would NOT recommend this product.

It sure does work.
I was a little hesitant to use this tape because I used the regular frog tape on the smooth side of the trims of windows and doors and there was paint bleed. However, I needed to try something specific for texture walls because I was planning to do a chevron pattern on heavy orange peel walls. I followed the instructions and applied the adhesive generously on the wall. When you are using this product do not apply too much adhesive because I did and when I removed the tape some of the original paint, which was painted over a year ago, came with it. The lines were sharp and other than having some paint stick to the tape, I am very happy with this product.

so there were a lot of edges to do and I might no have used the best technique during the application of the glue
I seemed to have trouble when applying the glue. The edge of the tape kept getting rolled back as I used the applicator brush. I think it was because the brush would become stiffer as I went along. I should add that I used 3 rolls of this tape on my project, so there were a lot of edges to do and I might no have used the best technique during the application of the glue. I'd chalk my use of this product up to a learning experience, and if I use it again in the future, I'd hope to do better with it.

and all that extra time looking up were a waste.
Painting objective was to wrap the lighter wall color onto textured knockdown ceiling and paint the remaining ceiling area a different color. Because this was an intensive ladder, overhead job, we only wanted to do it once. We followed the FrogTape textured surface painting instructions and video tips to a T because we are picky and didn't want to have a re-do or touch up (again ladders and overhead working conditions). The first series of trips up and down the ladder and looking up involved applying the tape. The second series of trips up and down the ladder and looking up involved wiping down the edge we wanted sealed with a wet cloth. The third series of trips up and down the ladder and looking up involved applying the special goop to the edge we wanted sealed to absolutely prevent textured surface edge bleeding. Because we were working overhead, we had to find a container for the goop and then use the applicator brush provided on goop bottle. (Ugh!!) The next step is to wait at least 15 minutes until the goop dries which we did. We rolled the ceiling with an appropriate roller for textured surfaces. When we removed the tape 24 hours later, we looked at each other and said that was a lot of steps and trips up and down the ladder for NOTHING. There were plenty of bleed throughs because of the texture. All those trips up and down the ladder, and all that extra time looking up were a waste.

Worked well! No tape is perfect over highly textured surfaces.
This tape kit worked well. The brush tip will harden if you don't keep it in some water. I would also recommend the tip of painting the color of the base coat over the edge of the tape. I found it online. I used this product and that technique and my stripes were nearly perfect. Minimal bleeding.

Works pretty good
Works way better than regular masking tape but it isn't 100%. It is a little time consuming, you have to put the tape on then wipe it with a damp cloth and then wipe it with the liquid that comes with it. If you are doing where ceilings meet walls as I was that means 3 times the trips up and down the ladder. It is also a little pricey, however it saves in the long run if you don't go back and fix paint weeping.
