Honest review - Actionable Book if You're a Go Getter Without The Excuses
Honestly when I first purchased this book I was excited, yet skeptical since I'm a part of a high level mastermind group and on the inside with entrepreneurs that make 7-8 figures a year. Boy did this blow my mind and prove to me a book can be just as much value as a high level mastermind group. The whole process of how an eCommerce is broken down into actionable simple to understand explanations and steps that a caveman could follow.In this book you learn everything that goes into a frontal end sales funnel, back end sales funnel, marketing, re-targeting, the no nos of advertising, market research, product research, price research, suppliers, building ideas for niches/products. This book will give you all the tools to take action if you're serious about making your goals happen. It can't do anything for you though if you sit around and let it gather dust. There are no sale pitches in this book, only pure actionable contentMe and my business partner after reading this book are almost ready to launch on Amazon FBA after only being done reading this book less then a week ago. (This book will help you if you are running an amazon business, shopify business, and any type of eCommerce business.)Good luck everyone! You can read all the books in the world, have all the mentors in the world, have all the tools in the world to get you to your goal; but if you don't take action, it will never happen. Your future self will thank you for it, start today :)

Increase conversions quickly
Great book for how to run an e-commerce business and the marketing that goes into it. If you build it, they won't come. So you better figure out how to market your website. This book gives great insight in how to best structure your offers, increase conversions and get people to your store. To my surprise this book also has some pretty advance "direct response" marketing ideas that typically isn't found with e-commerce stores (ninja conversions ideas). As the owner of a large e-commerce store, I encourage all my new employees to read this book. ~ Byron

Practical information for e-commerce business
If you have or are planning to start an e-commerce business, the author provides useful tips and guides for your undertaking. I have the paperback which is 356 pages. Itr’s an easy read that can be done in 3 or 4 afternoons. I gave it 4, and not 5, stars because the author is fairly relentless in promoting the services of his own company. If self-promotion bothers you, then you probably need to pass on the book. I thought his approach gave his comments more credibility so it didn’t bother me.The book encourages entrepreneurs not to overspend, to recognize that marketing is essential, and to put in the personal effort to understand their customers and competitors. Understanding customers (creation of an “avatar”) is described in detail.If you don’t want to read 356 pages, read the 12 Core Principles of E-commerce beginning on page 13 and each chapter has a brief summary at the end of the chapter that conveys the major takeaways of the chapter. I found that the chapters contained details that added value and the book is well written so the chapters read well.One major takeaway is that you must control the order process to have a business. When a business relies too much on others, the “others” can change their rules and do major damage to your “business”. See, for a current example, what Apple’s change in its privacy rules has done to adversely impact Facebook’s business.From the orders that I place on Amazon, I recognize many of the author’s recommended courses of action to encourage more sales. He also emphasizes that the hunt for more traffic online is more nuanced than simply adding unique visitors to your website.He gives specific recommendations for websites to visit and online approaches to take to improve your business. If you have, or plan to start, an online business, I highly recommend that you read the book.

Read this book only if you want to succeed in ecommerce.
Have you ever read a book that crams a 4 year undergraduate degree in 374 pages? This book does that.It's like a Bible for ecommerce professionals. A good 15 years of proven ecommerce experience is what you will read about.My only disappointment is now I see the very mistakes ecommerce websites are making. That I personally buy $700 to over $1,000 per month. I though this company was at the top on health supplements.After reading this book, I'm now exposed to all the glaring mistakes even $18 million dollar websites make.Competitive analysis is my favorite part of this book.
