Have several bombillas and this new one has quickly become one of my favorites, as it’s far easier to keep clean and softly gleaming than the similarly shaped alpaca one which I bought in Argentina years ago.It’s being used to sip both hot yerba mate and cold terere.

It is beautiful.. I gave the stainless steel version as a gift, so cleaning is an unknown.

Es que no sé medir bien...
No voy a descontar ningún punto/estrella por no medir bien. Quería un pitillo así...pero más largo :(. Todos dicen que mi porongo es más grande que los demás. Seguiré buscando entonces. Quizá algo con resorte.

Nice bombilla except for one caveat
I'm a long term mate drinker but had never owned a stainless bombilla. Tried this one based on design and rave reviews. But the steel is very thin and gets blistering hot and nasty on the lips. I'm very tolerant to hot drinks and know the exact heating point for mate, but stainless steel just gets very hot. Some straws on the market come with a silicon protector, wish this one had one as well! So what I did is wrap some sealing tape around the tip which controls the heat. (See photo)

elegant, reasonable size and durable
I like that the shape doesn't affect the drinking, it is big enough and it looks quite simple and elegant. Initially I was worried that it is too ig for the medium glasses I drink Mate in but it was perfect. it could fit M and L. Highly recommended!

Unglaublich, die Bombilla verstopft tatsächlich nicht !
Bevor ich die Bombilla bestellt habe, habe ich mir einige Reviews durchgelesen.Und da wurde ich neugierig, ob es wirklich so eine gute Bombilla ist, wie manche schreiben, dass sie nicht verstopft.Ich benutze eigentlich immer eine Löffel-bombilla, die mehr oder weniger nicht verstopft :-)Aber ich war auf der Suche nach einer Bombilla mit einem breiteren Mundstück.Das Paket kam nach nur 2 Tagen an !Ich habe die Bombilla mit folgenden Yerba Mate ausprobiert:Kurupí (hat viel Staub und kleine Teeblattteilchen), CBSÉ und Pajarito.Und es ist wirklich verblüffend, kein einziges mal verstopfte diese Bombilla.Es gibt ein Angebot von einem anderen Anbieter: Ein schöner Mate-Becher mit2 Bombillas, eine davon ähnelt dieser hier. Sie ist ein bisschen länger und sieht auch identisch aus,aber sie verstopft manchmal. Also, hat sich gelohnt, diese hier zu kaufen.Die haben das schon toll hingekriegt. So eine Bombilla, die auch nicht einmal nur ein bisschen verstopft, hatte ich in meinem ganzen Leben noch nicht.Vor allem für Tereré ist die Bombilla sehr praktisch, weil man grosse Schlücke nehmen kann.
