I needed a guide on how to make a log cabin quilt. I have all the materials, just need the time to start it. Have a good fried that has made many log cabin quilts, so I am also pulling ideas from her.

I needed a simple easy book to instruct me on making a log cabin quilt for my son.This book is perfect. Eleanor Burns is one of my favorite teachers when it comesto learning how to quilt ! Her visual aids are great, and instructions easily understood.Yardage charts are great as well! The only thing I wish were in this book was color.It is a black and white on the inside. Only color is on the front and back cover of the book.To have colored examples would be great. Yet for what I needed this for, is just right for me.

Wish I could watch her shows, this is the next best thing.

You should try this method of Log Cabin Quilting! Be careful as you will also get a new hobby for free and enjoy your quilt for years to come!!

I had misplaced the old copy I had of this book, which had color illustrations. This particular copy that I purchased is black and white, no color pictures. A little disappointed. If I had known I would have looked for a book that was in color.

Great book with clear instructions and ideas for log cabin quilts. Eleanor has some innovative ideas for speeding up the construction of a log cabin quilt. It is so easy to keep the seems on track with her instructions. I would certainly recommend this book to quilters of any ability.
