Legend Of Zelda Concert 2018 Original Soundtrack

The cover of this special edition is beautiful, with the art of Ocarina of Time Link, Skyward Sword Zelda and Breath of the Wild Link holding their respective instruments being embossed onto a high-quality box. The box itself is gray and black, sporting a checkered-like triforce pattern. It opens from the side like a lid, and right away you see the charms in sealed plastic. The goodies that this edition comes with are great quality too. The charms comes with a DIY stand (instructions for setting this up ARE include in this edition. It should come right before the SOUNDTRACK CD.) Unfortunately I just don't have enough space to display it right now, but I'm eager to set it up in the future.That's just the box, though. The music itself is stellar. (Though I feel that should be self-explanatory, it's a Zelda soundtrack played by an orchestra after all.)I expected it to be shipped in a box. It came in one of those envelope packages that you might typically see if you order paperback books off Amazon. I was worried how this would affect the condition of the item, but it was alright. The plastic covering the box was ripped a little, so be cautious if you like to keep your items sealed for collection purposes. But since most order this to get to the music and other collectibles, it should be fine. There was no damage to the soundtrack box; the envelope package seemed to work just fine.(I'll be updating this review in a bit with pictures.)

I was stuck between buying this or just the concert CD. I decided to go with this version as I hadn’t been to any of the Legend of Zelda concerts and the DVD would be a good way to experience it. While the tracks on the music CD are in Japanese, I was able to figure out which version to select on my computer to get the tracks in English when I uploaded the music to my music player. I had only recently gotten into video game music, even though I have always loved playing video games, and had only been to the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra, so I didn’t know if I would be interested in the Legend of Zelda concert or not. As it’s not possible to time travel, I decided to purchase this concert cd while it was still available so I could both enjoy the music and decide if I would want to go if there was another concert in the future that I would be able to attend. I enjoyed the orchestra arrangements of the music from the concert that was on the cd and am glad I purchased this version as it makes me hopeful there will be another concert again someday, but if not I can always enjoy my home concert experience.

For Zelda collectors ... this made my wife's day almost as much as that day that I thought I won the lotto but it was just a dream ... oh well this wasn't and she really liked it ... back to work for me after telling my boss off.

I found a Youtube channel quite by accident that had questionably uploaded both disks to Youtube. I sat and listened to the whole playlist in one sitting and fell in love with it. After doing a bit of googling, I found that there were a handful of disks left, and for Christmas, I bought myself the disks. I've listened to them so many times that I've memorized all of the music. I'm convinced Nintendo needs to hire a full orchestra for the next Breath of the Wild game; the medleys are grand, beautiful, and moving.My favorite songs were the Ganon battle medley (the choir and brass sections cause me to get goosebumps every time) and the BotW trailer music. This collection is a masterpiece.

The Legend of Zelda 2018 Concert with the Tokyo Philharmonic is one of those absolutely stellar performances of video game music that makes you wish you had been there for the actual performance. At least they made such a wonderful recording!You get a gorgeous package with the 2 CDs of the 14 tracks, but the Blu Ray is the unexpected gem that provides a wonderful view of the performance as well as the option to watch what the audience saw during the performance.For you Breath of the Wild fans, you not only get all of the themes of the game, you also get to hear a fully scored climax to the game which, unlike the official soundtrack of BotW, beautifully transitions between the Hyrule Castle theme, the final battle, and the epic final scene music.Just pure magic!

I received it on time and with no issues. It is a Christmas gift so I hope it is as the item was described and what my bf wanted.

Great recording quality in this amazing live concert which includes lots of BOTW tracks and other classics. The Blu-ray, card and "jewelry" within are a nice addition. Sadly, its all in Japanese and there's no English text version for the tracks and information of the concert. Still love it though.
