This product does not contain wheat, gluten, dairy, soy, corn, egg, peanuts, yeast, sugar, magnesium stearate, binders, coatings, disintegrants, artificial colors, artificial flavors, or artificial sweeteners.

Q: How buffered is it? It still lists Ascorbic Acid, and it's a much larger proportion than the buffered ascorbate components.

All I can say is that I have not felt any ill effects from using it all these years.

Magnesium (as Ascorbate reacted from Magnesium Carbonate and Ascorbic Acid)."Buffered" refers to being easy on the digestive tract (causing less irritation to people with sensitive stomachs).There are 4 pictures posted of this product on the Amazon page, 3 of which are pics of the back label. Hope this helps.

Q: can you use this in a bath to rid the water of Chlorine?

Not unles you are a millionaire. Much more practical to use epsom salt
