Pflueger Trion 10 Spincast Rod and Reel Combo

True, I've spent more on a single lure that I did for this set up. But for fishing the little ones like crappie and small trout? This is a dandy little light action rod with a good working dependable reel. I actually bought it for a youngster, but no doubt I'll be using it myself.

I bought this for my son to catch sunfish. It gets so bound up after 20-25 casts the reel needs taken apart and fixed, a 15 minute fix and we’re back fishing. He is so frustrated he left it at home and took $19 zebco 33 with him and it fished all day. I can see the pflueger going in the just doesn’t get fished any more.

This is a great combo. It throws much further than the Zebco 33 and at a great price. I don't like 2 piece rods but I dipped the bottom tip of the top rod in gorilla glue and put it together, set it like I wanted it and it works great.

The reel does not work and when you try to cast it will not hold the line with button pushed and just falls straight down right away
