Victoria Park Toile 68-Inch-by-54 Inch Tailored Panel Pair with Tiebacks, Black

These "tie up" curtains work perfectly in my dining room. I appreciate the toile design that is both interesting and detailed but not "in your face." It adds some character to the room and the color scheme is perfect. The curtains do not have a darkening layer and allow some light through. They seem well made and I appreciate the loop format holding up the fabric as opposed to actually needing to tie it. It looks neater and is a lot less work to get just right.

After searching and searching for curtains for my bedroom remodel, I was left completely frustrated!!! UNTIL I FOUND THESE BEAUTIFUL VALANCES!!!! They are exactly what I was looking for and the quality is amazing. The material is thick, heavy and 100% cotton. The design image is crisp and clear not fuzzy or blurry. The color is exactly as online ... a true black and white. I purchased two valances for my double windows. Normally I would need 4 to get the fullness I like. These valances are generously sized and 2 are more than enough to create the fullness. Shipping was quick... I ordered Sept 5th and received them on Sept 11th; a full 6 days earlier than expected!! I had ordered 2 other pairs, 2 separate times, from other online retailers. Both times were disappointing and each was returned due to quality issues. So, I was pretty hesitant to buy anything else online. But let me tell you....I’m so glad I took the chance!!! These are beautiful, with excellent quality and design. Works beautifully with the French Country design I’m going for! I only wish I had found these beautiful balances sooner ... would have saved myself hours of frustration and time wasted!! If you’re on the fence at all, don’t be!!! Just buy these valances and you will not regret it!!

EXCELLENT PURCHASE! The quality of this item is fantastic...thicker and the print is vivid and darker! Only thing I might suggest is a tad more length. It feels a bit short

I really love this cheerful Blue Toile pattern with peasants feasting and dancing in the countryside, for our big kitchen window behind our breakfast table. My only concern is that it is a bit narrow. I wished that it came in wider sizes. But actually by being narrower then everybody can see better the pictures in the design. It picked this design in particular because it shows also trees and houses in the country, besides people doing different types of chores in the scenes. It makes it less busy and more natural, like a whole picture, not just sections even though it repeats itself. I love the drawings of people seating around a table sharing a meal, since it's in behind my kitchen table. It reminds me of old antique folk drawings or prints in books from the 18th century from my childhood in the North of Spain and South of France. My son loves it too. He told he me that it reminds him of Hobbits, haha! I also got a blue small checkered valance which complements it really well. It also goes very well with all the different blue plates (of flowers, animals and fruits) that we have all over the walls of the kitchen. I can't stop watching it and its details when I walk in the kitchen. Because the the design, I really recommend it for a kitchen or nook area. The blue is not too dark not too light. Just perfect. The price is good since it comes in two panels together. I also like that it comes in different lengths options because I wanted shorten curtains of 63 inches long, so they do not drag on the floor.

I must have looked at a thousand toile curtains and ordered more than half a dozen, and these were not only the best but also the least expensive by half! This print creates that wonderful toile cascade so you don’t get the feeling you’re seeing lines in the repeated pattern. It’s organic and lovely. It is a soft ivory with black, and even with bright white cabinets it’s perfect because it has that saturated, picture-book page quality. I will add a liner because the light filters behind it. Really impressed with the quality of these curtains!

I have this Victoria Park Toile in black as my shower curtain and valence in my bathroom. I decided to get the comforter, shams, Euro shams, throw pillows--the whole deal. If you are looking for a "comforter", you will hate this item. I have had nice down comforters that are warm, soft, lightweight and cozy. This is extremely stiff, almost a burlap feeling material. The fill seems cheap, but it has decent loft for appearance sake. I got it as a bedspread, to give a finished look to my bedroom. However i fold this down at the foot of the bed each night and never sleep under it. I have soft and comfortable blankets i purchased when i realized this was not a comforter i would ever sleep under. My other "complaint" is that the reverse of it is cream. Even the Victoria Park Toile throw pillows have black / cream check on the reverse. Why can't this reverse to check? It would look much nicer when folded down.

These are REALLY CUTE and very well made. I bought them first in blue (68 x 84" tiebacks), then more in black, and even got an (adorable!) pillow in red. If my husband would let me, I would put them in every room in the house!! The fabric is very sturdy, almost a denim-like weight and feel to it, which seems like it won't show dirt too much, and the toile print is gorgeous and charming. The colors are also quite lovely. The black has almost a cream or off-white background, and the blue is a pretty, pale French blue. Attached pictures of the black toile in our bedroom. (Pardon my mess and the filthy carpet!) My only wish is that the tie-backs had those little loops on them so I could hang them on the little hooks on the sides of the windows. Otherwise they are fantastic. Please note: I have not attempted to clean them yet. I believe the label says dry clean only, which is kind of a bummer. I might try machine washing them on cold and see what happens.

This window covering allows sufficient light in while still giving great privacy for my bathroom windows.
