Amazing! A definite need for your Flair.
I got the Flair neo a few months ago and wasn't sure If i was pulling my espresso shots correctly. This pressure gauge is a godsend! It makes it so easy to figure out the proper pressure and my shots have improved since getting it. Like other parts through this brand, everything is of high quality and it's really easy to use. This is a great addon for the flair flex neo, performs great, is small and easy to store, and is so easy to use. Definitely worth the cost!

This is what my Neo Flex needed
I am pulling perfect shots now, I was able to get the right setting on my grinder and get amazing espressos knowing the pressure needed, I didnt like the "training" valves since one broke and I was extra careful with the other one, this valve replaces the piston with the fragile seal and allows you to control the pressure. LOVE IT!, i would only point that when you press, it tilts but according to flair this is normal

Do you have a flair classic?
Did you also buy a flair classic? Perhaps on ebay hoping it was the signature model with this fancy gizmo and it was a classic that doesn't have one? Well for the price of what I had paid for the classic I can't complain there being nearly half off for a gently used machine. Disappointed by the missing pressure gauge that I can tell you makes the world of difference in how things come out and taste for that matter this by far over any other upgrade you can make is the one thing I'd tell you to put money into. The rest? Ehh I mean if you werengoing to buy the flair 58 with the bells and whistles you wouldn't have read this review now would you? I've always wanted a flair and this one little item took my at home batista skills from noting to amazeballs, I just give it a little time to pre infuse then start my clock and aim for the 30second mark and with the gauge too little or too much pressure is a thing of the past. And really helps me dial in my grind settings because I can use consistent pressure pull after pull and thats the difference, it eliminates a huge variable and let's me focus on the coffee and ratio and grind. I hope this helps and yes while this is an expense for some this saved me from reselling my flair due to it making crap at the start, now I pull perfection every time

Good but over priced
It's pretty good, but for what it is,this should be priced at 30 bucks the most

Perfect Fit
My original part developed a stress fracture and leaked pressure. The replacement has a new design which I assume will prevent the same failure in the future. It works great and has restored the function of the coffee press.

Only need to use this a couple times
Great tool to use for learning on the Flair - once you have the technique developed using the gauge - put it in a drawer - great espresso becomes muscle memory. Pull it out if you're "developing" using new beans or new new grind or simply want to vary your technique. Just enough funky behavior as opposed to the standard gear that you probably won't use it every time after you have dialed in your brew.

The item costs a lot for what it is but it's an essential piece for the flair.
