Cheap and pretty nasty, but they will work
So these lockpicks are very cheap. They're made of good quality steel. The thickness is probably "medium" in a UK situation, so they are genuinely useable. The handles are nasty and uncomfortable, but nothing you couldn't solve with some shrink wrap tubing. The finishing is very rough, and they will hang up in tight keyways, but if you have a set of reasonable sandpaper - say 200-1000 grit, they're easy to finish up yourself and get to a respectable level. Fold the sandpaper over with the rough side in, and hold against a hard work surface and push and pull the picks in and out until the edges are taken off and they'll be fine.2 star review because there wasn't the included guide, and the stitching on the pouch was missing in parts.

Pick set
Very good value for money.Quite comfortable to use.Decent range of tension tools.Thin enough for most locks. If only the case was a bit larger.

Nice set
Bought these to open a garage door that I had lost the key to, and it did that perfectly. I must note that after a day or two of use, the rake snapped off. Now it must be said that I don't really know too much about picking locks, so it could have been my fault by applying too much pressure. They arrived promptly though, and were exactly as advertised.

Only good for very large locks
It's a shame really because they are very strong picks, but no good for the smaller 40mm - 60mm (maybe some 60mm ones) padlocks. So that said still has its uses.Very nice case for storage...

GOSO 15 piece slimline pocket lock pick set and "How to pick cylinder locks...
These go well with my locksmithing book bought from Amazon earlier in the month. No one's safe now. (Just joking).

good but was it worth it?
I in fairness like these, but the whole Gide to lock picking wasn`t even a pan flit.... so take or leave it I guess, and the lock I brought with it in the deal never arrived.

Great Beginners Set
I got these about a month ago. I was a complete novice then with only the theoretical knowledge of lock picking. This set arrived in a nice little case. As has been mentioned it is a little bit small to hold all the tools but it does the job.As for the picks themselves. Well it comes with 11 picks, 3 tension tools and a broken key extractor. Size wise the picks are great, very slim and I could even get them to fit into a travel/luggage lock. With a little practice I managed to pick a couple of different locks. There is a small, double ended tension tool which works beautifully. The problems with the kit is just the material really. One of the tension tools is just too soft to work with and given the slightest pressure it bends. Not one but 3 different picks broke on me in two different locks. While I will admit I am new to picking so I might have been a bit rougher than necessary I did not bend them sideways, only up and down. Despite being cheap they should still stand up to a little more punishment than that. The bottom line is these are great for beginners as they are good value. If you like them and wan't to progress there are other more expensive sets out there to get. After a month or so of using these I have ordered a 30 piece set that is a bit dearer.
