Very very cute lion cub:)
This costume is extremely cute! I read so many reviews before ordering and almost did not purchase . I went ahead and made the purchase just to see for myself I loved it that much online! My son is so adorable in it!! The head piece is nice and it fits fine and the whole suit is really made well. The costume is made pretty warm with fleece just if that makes any difference for you. The tail attaches with Velcro and it can be shaped however you want it. The sizing is a little larger than original sizing but it's nothing for me to complain about. I love it on him! Knowing that it does run a bit bigger I would size down just a little but you don't have to. My little guy is 16months and can wear 18m-24m and sometimes 2t so I got the large and it's a tiny bit longer but it's nothing really major. You would want it a little bigger than too small. Alot of people said the fabric and tail was terrible and that may be true for what they recieved but mine was great so just see for yourself I guess. The tail is long and is wired all the way through. The only negative about this costume is the price, it is really expensive but nice! I hope this review helps to make your decision easier!!

Perfect Little Lion!
I ordered this for my 15 month old for and was very pleased! It's well made and surprisingly thick and warm. It was chilly and windy where I live on Halloween, and my child stayed toasty warm in just the costume with a fleece sleeper underneath. This costume is super adorable, and comes with everything your little one needs to be a lion.A few of the other lion costumes I considered did not come with paw booties, this one did and they seem to be a true example of "one size fits all". My child is average weight, and tall for his age. He wears 12 month onesies and tops, and 18 month pants. I ordered size 18-24 months, wanting extra room to layer clothes underneath. It fit exactly how I expected and wanted. The mane did shed a bit, but it seems just to be left over from the manufacturing process. I took a few minutes to pull the extra clumps off and shedding ceased to be an issue after that. (Note: this did not cause the mane to lose "fur" or become sparse.)This costume was perfect for our Wizard of Oz theme and I am very pleased with it. I saw a few other baby lion costumes while trick or treating and this was honestly my favorite, and the best looking in my opinion. Phenomenal deal and product, especially for the price! I highly recommend it.

Love!
This costume is so adorable. My daughter loved it. She's a little over 2. Bought the 18-24 size. The length was just right. Could've been a little longer which means maybe the next size up wouldve been good too but regardless this was fine. Do not buy this if you're going to be in hot weather. It is definitely not light material. It's not heavy per say but if it's over 80 out, your kid might get hot. My girl was fine until we did more walking. She got hot. It was 80 in Las Vegas on Saturday. I was glad I did not put a shirt underneath this on her, only leggings otherwise she really would've been sweating but overall it was wonderful. I saw people comment about the hair on the headpiece coming off easily but just give it a good shake down and it's fine. We didn't have any issues. It was also easy for her to walk wearing the "paws" without shoes. Got lots of compliments!

... larger than expected but it ended up working out great. The extra space
it was a bit larger than expected but it ended up working out great. The extra space, especially through the legs, allowed for a more humorous fit in my opinion and the result was the cutest lion dude on the borrowed block (the external feedback confirms this, not just biased parent ignorance; one couple said 'top 5 cute', up from the original 'top 10 cute', not sure who the other 4 were but that's probably the b.p.i.). I wish the velcro on the head was a bit bigger, and is probably worth tossing in the dryer for a bit to eliminate some of the fuzz that undoubtedly comes off. It is pretty warm (which worked in our climate) otherwise he might wear it more often, or... i might.

Cheaply made, doesn't actually fasten around face...
Okay, so I realize that our infant is chubby, but he isn't THAT chubby. I was super excited for the kids to go out for Halloween dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters. I had handmade the girls costumes and was too tired to do the baby's costume, so I found this one. I figured $35 bucks was probably worth the hours it would take me to make this, so I bought it.It was awful. The inside of the hat thingy was scratchy and the velcro fasters were NOT LONG ENOUGH to fit under baby's chin to actually fasten it together. Needless to say, the baby kept it on for about four seconds before ripping it off of his head. It needed another good two inches to actually get the fabric pieces to touch. The rest of it is just cheaply made, and doesn't look nearly as nice as the photo does. Save yourself some money and cut some eyeholes out of a sheet. Seriously, that would have been a better costume than this was.

Does it matter how cute it is if your baby won't wear it?
I love the look of this costume. It was everything, visually, I was looking for. Unfortunately like other reviews have noted my baby would not wear the Lion's Mane. He also wouldn't wear the feet and was uncomfortable in the suit. He couldn't crawl in the suit. I think it was the feel of the lining inside of the suit. He was miserable so I didn't make him wear it and ended up just putting on some fall colored pjs instead (luckily we were just handing out candy so no need to worry about not having a costume for a party). He didn't even last long enough to take a happy photo. I'm not happy about throwing away money for this costume or not having a costume for him but you live and learn. Maybe somewhere out there - there are babies who will happily wear this. I'm guessing if they fuss with hats or bibs or are mobile then this is not a good buy for you. If you have a baby who is easy going about wearing things on their heads and necks and aren't crawling or walking yet then I would still check this costume out since it is beautiful. Just stay away if you don't have that type of baby.
