Pricey, but worth it
This is just the best loose leaf tea. Used to buy Good Earth, but they changed their recipe and it tastes like petroleum. This tea has a full flavor and is delicious. Pricey, but worth it.

Smells Like Christmas, Tastes Like 50+ Years of Perfection
I’ve been drinking MarketSpice Cinnamon Orange Tea since I was six years old. That was 1972. Back then, I bought it directly at Pike Place Market when I lived across the lake from Seattle. Decades later, now living in Louisiana, this is how I still get it—and I’m happy to report it hasn’t changed one bit. This tea is absurdly versatile. Drink it hot, drink it cold, add milk or don’t, sweeten it or leave it alone—it always works. I even use it as a base for my Christmas mead, which should tell you something about both its strength and its character. The first time I introduced a friend to it, she opened the tin, paused, and said, “It smells like Christmas.” That pretty much sums it up. The flavor is bold, rich, and unmistakable. The cinnamon and orange oils are real and unapologetic—none of that weak, dusty spice you get from most grocery-store teas. This is a tea that announces itself before you even brew it. There are two important things you must know before buying: First, store the loose tea in glass or porcelain. Under no circumstances should this tea be stored in plastic. The essential oils are so strong they will literally melt or deform plastic containers. Yes, including Tupperware. Ask me how I know. Second, the brewed tea will permanently stain plastic. If you’re making iced tea, use a glass pitcher or dedicate one pitcher to this tea alone unless you enjoy explaining why your plastic is now permanently amber. I’ve been drinking this tea for over 50 years, and the quality today is exactly what it was when I was a kid—bold, aromatic, and completely uncompromising. MarketSpice hasn’t chased trends, watered it down, or “modernized” it into mediocrity. They’ve just kept making it right. If you want a tea that actually tastes like something, that smells incredible, and that has stood the test of half a century, this is it. Five stars, without hesitation.

Amazing
This smells so good. And very stong. Would recommend having a large airtight glass jar ready for it because the smell well seep through anything plaid. This tastes excellent.

An incredible tea
This tea has incredible flavor and no sweeteners, but you won’t believe it when you taste it. The sweetness comes only from the special cinnamon used. This is a tea everyone should try. It will knock your socks off. You can rebrew the tea a second time for a decaffeinated experience. The cinnamon and orange flavor lasts. This is a great tea to get you going or to soothe you.

Robust flavor
I just received this tea yesterday and have only had one cup, but wow! I was amazed at how robust the orange and spice flavor was. As we all know, all flavored teas vary in strength and intensity, so I started with perhaps more tea than I needed and it was very orange. Next time I will probably use just a bit less, until I find that sweet spot for my taste. Love the flavor and the price. Compared to a name brand store that I normally buy from, this tea has way more orange and spice flavor at a much better price point. I would buy again.

Mixed review
A pretty good deal, I suppose. Our local tea store charges much more per ounce. However, this bag shipped from Amazon didn't have the fortissimo pungent aroma when opening the (rather thin) bag. Noticed the expiration date. September. It's May. Freshness has basically gone and it's already on its last leg. I hope they improve the packaging to a more time-resistant plastic bag. Also, when it gets this old they should probably sell it at a discount locally instead of ship it to unsuspecting buyers. Taste is good, not "grab a book and sit & sip for an hour fabulous". AUGUST UPDATE: After placing the tea in a glass storage jar it revitalized the leaves. The September expiration date hasn't changed, of course, but it seems fresher than when I first opened the bag. Might buy again, but may try to find another seller that's just as reasonable in price that sells fresher product.
