KB Collection Sand Picture Earth Made in Austria W4 (8.7 x 13 inches)

This sand picture looks high end and is very well made with quality materials. Mine had a couple marks on the frame from handling but it's hard to notice once you start looking at the picture because it is so engrossing and entertaining to watch. I got the feeling that I was looking at Earth, which is depicted quite beautifully btw, from somewhere on the moon. The great thing is that every time you flip it the "lunar landscape", that the sand creates, is always ever-changing and unique which gives the illusion that you are seeing earth from different parts of the moon. It took some patience to fine tune the right amount of air, using the included syringe to get it to flow nicely, and the smallest adjustment in air makes a big difference in how the sand flows so there is a bit of a learning curve. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. My only complaint is the way it and two other sand pictures that I purchased were shipped. The "Midnight" picture that I ordered was well packaged and shrink wrapped securely in the box, this one was loose with little packing material and the "Outer Space" came shattered which I am returning for a refund. This inconsistency in packaging is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

so cool to watch the picture change each time you turn the picture up side down. The frame was a tiny bit scratched, but not worth sending back.

When it arrived...the frame was fracked. I was able to take it to a local framer and gave it replaced.
