I recently installed this 800mm chrome over-bath shower screen and I’m genuinely pleased with the results. An over zealous relative managed to break my previous shower screen, well it was 30years old and he thought it was foldable, it wasn’t, so when they left the hunt was on for a replacement. This was, in my opinion, the best of the bunch. It was much taller, 400mm than the last one and 200mm wider so it has had the added benefit of my being able to remove a shower curtain that covered the short fall of the original. Good value for money, should be easy enough to clean, nice quality of build and because it has a hinge, 90 degrees left or right, visitors shouldn’t be able to break it 🤞🏽can’t offer an opinion on water tightness’s as it was only installed a couple of hours ago but it was easy to install, well if you had two people to do it, because it is quite heavy and there are a number of holes to be drilled both in the wall/tiles (3) and in the frame of the hinge (3) self tapping screws which hold the glass screen frame in place. Not hard to do but definitely easier if you have an extra pair of hands. I don’t expect any water leakage as silicone was applied before screwing the base plate to the wall. If I had one concern it would be that there are no real visible markings on the glass ! Some idiot will almost certainly try to walk through it despite water beads being on the glass 🤭 Not me, I have my own ensuite, ohh get me. 😉

Much cheaper than my local hardware store. Looks great, arrived in perfect condition. Was easy to install even though the instructions (or pictures) are quite vague. We bought a diamond drill bit to drill through the tiles, although this is only really needed if you have porcelain tiles but a handy tool to have anyway. If you have normal ceramic tiles then a HSS or masonry bit should be ok, just don't put your drill on the hammer setting else you'll crack the tile.Anyway, the screen is good and includes a nice seal on the bottom so no water leaks out. Also with it being solid glass then it's easy to clean

Sturdy good fit no leaks , had to drill holes on side panels not pre drilled , suppose it meant to be like that.

The screen is effective and doesn't leak, replacing an old one. The only quibble is that the screws provided were of low quality, with the heads easily damaged while screwing in. A good price.
