Very thick beard balm...more like a beard wax. Difficult to spread, but great scent and hold.

Bought this for boyfriend, smells wonderful like woodsy cloves. Product is a little bit thick but smooths out nice with a bristle beard brush combed through after application.

I bought this beard balm to help tame my "redundant mop" (thanks Herman Melville). I was pleased to receive this balm in a nice metal tin. I've mentioned elsewhere that I like metal tins.I cracked it open and scraped a bit out. It has a nice, waxy texture - not too waxy, but not as soft as some others I've tried. It's also heavier or thicker than some of the others I've tried.After rubbing it between my fingers to warm and soften the balm, I applied it to mustache and beard. It has a masculine scent (cedar and cloves) which I like. However, my wife commented that it was nice but "not her favorite".It helped keep the flyways in check, and also seems to soften and condition. I can definitely feel a difference if I don't use it - my beard is more rough and bristly. I'd classify it primarily as a tamer and styler, with conditioning properties.The tin is large, and will last quite a while l think. Rotating daily between this and another balm I use, I've used a little over half in almost six months. So using daily, it'd theoretically last about six months. (Your mileage may vary.)

Not a bad product if you like to keep a short beard

The owners of this company are AMAZING!!! I had difficulty trying to open the tin for the beard balm, largely because I am brain dead, the owners of the company ( I think they were the owners, they were so incredible.) didn't even blink an eye and sent me an entirely new tin and even through in a gift of the essential oils oil droppers, at no charge!! These guys have blown my mind. I absolutely love the products they sell, but you just can beat this kind of customer service. I will be a customer of theirs for LIFE and I will tell the world how great they are, I mean really who does that anymore. WOW!

Has a good smell but is to hard

Bought this and the beard oil for my husband for christmas. Great product, great scent. He loves the way his beard both looks and feels when he uses this, I love the way it smells. You will need to purchase a good quality beard comb for use with this product. A little goes a long way, it gets used at least 4 days out of every 7, and is not even half gone after a month and a half of use. All in all, a great value for the money spent, and his beard is no longer scratchy and unkempt looking.

Only gets one star because I like the smell. This balm has the consistency of beeswax. It is hard as a rock and clumps in my beard. I have it preheat the tin just to make it soft enough to extract the product. Do not waste your money.
