Will it tear from the dog’s claws when she goes under high chair?

We have 2 small dogs with longer nails and have no tears. They are CONSTANTLY under the high chairs of our twins. It’s pretty sturdy. I do secure it with double sided tape though.

Is this mat completely non toxic?

It doesn't say. It says no bpa, no pvc, no phthalates.
