This yoyo is perfect for learners.
I loved it. Now I'm a good non-responsive yoyoer (I don't care that that's not a word, it should be.) and I have this to thank for it. It has good balance, and is responsive, but has a 30 second spin time, long enough for getting started on string tricks (Yomega videos are more interesting, but if you have trouble, the ones on Yotricks.com are longer and better). The longest string trick I can do on this is atom smasher, which is very respectable for a responsive yoyo. When you get to good for this one, I very highly recommend you get a Yomega Maverick, If you like string tricks, get the ultimate spin pack, (If it's out of stock you can get the dif-e-yo konkave bearing (or not if you really don't want to) separately) or the splash design if you like responsive (2a) play, that way you can still do some string tricks mixed in with the looping. Even if you don't want to do any string tricks, only looping, I still recommend the maverick splash, I think it's the best. If you want to go even further with string tricks, you should not get the Glide, it's not much better than the maverick, get the YYF Shutter, and get different bearing for it

Great yo yo
Great yoyo nice sturdy feel heavier weight, very large diameter.Great sleep time for practicing string tricks, and for performing and learning the begginer tricks I.e sleeping yoyo, over the fence, around the world, shoot the moon walk the dog, creeper, and the u.f.o. also good for fast string wind tricks.Large size makes it easy to grab onto, but hurts when it wacks you during a mistake not limited to but as simple as not getting a finger out of the way when waking up a sleeper.

Really great Yoyo, sleeps a lot!
I wanted to get a yoyo for a long time, back in highschool (10+ yrs ago) I used to play a lot and knew a few basic tricks.I knew there were better yoyos tere than the regular Duncan you get on a toy store for $3 but I wasn't ready to go for a full pro yoyo, maybe I could not drive it!I found this and saw some reviews on Youtube. I am very happy with it! I have not used it too much outside, but I fear that the rubber edges may scratch easily, but same as any other yoyo that gets hit.It sleeps a _lot_, I haven't had many people test it, but it has slept for everybody. It can be a bit of trouble to make it go back up and it will come back up FAST! It hurts your hand at the beginning until you either get used to it or let it sleep a lot so it comes up with little force.

Save money, buy the replay.
Ok, this yyo is not worth the money you pay. Now this is a great concept but it was not done well. I like having the rubber on the outside but it is very hard and brittle. The plastic on the inside is very cheap and just feels poor quality. For $15 I can let these things pass but what I think is VERY bad is the bearing. This thing is stiff. It feels uneven and slow. I could only get 1e seconds off a near perfect throw. I have tried everything. Lube, new string, nothing works. I could see this yoyo sell for $5. Any more is a rip off. It this is only my youo then fine it could have been a mistake but things like this just ruin a yoyo. I'm keeping it just for the fact of showing people what a bad bearing feels like.

Okay for the price
The xodus 2 is durable for sure, but it will come apart easily when it hits the ground. It is actually designed as an off string yoyo, so when using it traditionally it will slow down a lot when it gets a little bit of string in the gap. This just shortens the time of some tricks. Also, it's big and heavy, so a quick return can hurt. Other than that it's pretty responsive and is good for beginners.

Strings broke in 3 days!
My boys received these yo-yo's in the mail on a Saturday... One string broke on Sunday. The back up string broke on Monday. By Tuesday the second Yo-yo was out of commission due to 2 broken strings as well. Very disappointing to two young boys that saved up their allowance for these yo-yo's.

For the price, a decent yoyo
Ball-bearing & axle seem sturdy, but the friction mechanism is just some plastic ridges by the bearing. For the price, not a bad yoyo. If you are just starting to learn off-string, it might be OK, but this yoyo will quickly become unresponsive. The yoyo handles being dropped well & doesn't get marks/gouges very easily. It also doesn't seem to hurt our wood floors. It also doesn't seem to leave any marks if it accidentally brushes a wall or two.

YES!
I love this yo-yo. I'm a pretty big guy, with some large hands, so i got this yo-yo because its built bigger than most. Since I throw hard, its the perfect weight for both loop tricks and string tricks. The large flared wings and large center gap allow for easy string tricks, and i've mastered several new tricks since buying this yo-yo. I only have two complaints to an otherwise awesome yo-yo. First is the rubber edge- while it adds weight to the yo-yo and makes it easier to catch, it also makes it more difficult to do tricks that involve other surfaces, since the rubber causes so much friction. My second complaint is that if you over tighten the yo-yo the metal nut around the axle breaks the plastic, which causes the hub-cap to fall off. while the nut is easy to fix with some super glue, losing that hub cap makes the yo-yo slightly off balance, which can affect the more complex string tricks. I would definitely recommend this yo-yo for beginners and intermediate throwers who are looking for a little more weight and a little more size out of a yo yo.

Estupendo.
Muy divertido. Permite hacer muchos trucos casi profesionales, no es el típico yoyó de hace años de cuando éramos niños

Great starting yoyo.
It may not be a top-tier yoyo, but it's definitely a good quality. It's weighted, so it can be a bit rough when learning new tricks or throwing too hard, but responds well and has a good bearing. Definitely recommend.

Heavy, old, 1A/4A yoyo.
This yoyo is very heavy, and the rubber is quite rigid, making it painful for the hand when it comes back at full speed. It was apparently designed roughly a decade ago as a yoyo that could be used for both 1A and 4A. However, it kind of fails at both… As a 1A yoyo, the gap is very narrow, causing string tricks to be very challenging; I had to add shims around the bearing to get more room (and now I need to bind to get it back). As a 4A yoyo, it is not wide enough, making it very hard to catch. Moreover, because of the rubber rims, whenever it falls, instead of giving you a second chance by bouncing on the floor back up, it just flies away from you at full speed…The yoyo comes with two thick cotton strings, that you may want to replace by polyester strings. I cleaned the bearings as well to improve sleeping time, but it's still somewhere around 20 seconds. All in all, I probably would not suggest this yoyo if you plan to get serious into yoyo-ing.
