Great intro to scratchboard!
Great little kit that's a good value. I liked how straightforward the instructions are - simple, easy to follow. The kit comes with two boards which is great, I tried it out on one and my almost 8-year old used the other. When it's winter and you're stuck inside, it's great to find something that will keep my son's attention for more than 5 minutes (that doesn't involve a screen). He's a budding artist that really likes projects that go beyond crayons and markers. Love the tools too!

Rainy Day Fun
The attached picture is my 1st attempt at attempting to copy Mr. Hopman's bear. I did it all wrong and instead I have a reverse rodent & butterfly. Since then I've received my kit and was excited to follow the link provided with kit to his Scratch Board Site and learn how to do it properly. I think I'll go back and fix my rodent a bit now that I have all the proper tools and more educated.

Great way to spend quality creative time with my grandchild!
I really like this art kit as a way to spend time with my granddaughter. I was amazed at how easy the instructions were to follow and it provided multiple boards to work on. We can proudly display her artwork now for all to enjoy.

High-quality scratchboard kit with all the essentials to get started

So glad I purchased this kit! It offers a great introduction to scratch board, comes with high quality tools, easy-to-follow instructions, and I got my own masterpiece out of it! This kit would make a killer gift for a new art student too. I will be recommending it to a few art teachers I know.

Impressed with the quality
Everything in this Scratch Art Kit is quality, from the tools to the paper. Really easy directions follow. It's a GREAT gift for the beginner and the PERFECT gift, for the "travel" scratch artist on the go.

Fun and informative!
