The stones are small but beautiful. They were sent India post and took about a month to get here. I bought mine when they were $16. They have gone up in price twice now. With all of these teeny tiny opal pebbles, I buy orders when I can afford it. I plan to gently clean off the crust with fine wet/dry sandpaper and show y’all a photo of the finished product. Gotta keep them wet when you work them or they will crack. They are small enough to put in a little bottle to hang on your neck. I am giving a wish bottle with 2 opal pieces in it to my 7 year old grand daughter for Christmas this year, on a silver chain. She beads with me a lot, and she will no doubt squeal with joy to have them.

I wouldn't and won't order from this seller again . They just went out and scooped these from the backyard. I have these same rocks in my field. So disappointed, I should have known better. These were a mother's day gift that failed. They are lest than 1/2 inch each and there's only 5 of them and they are pebbles. River Rocks

Stones were received earlier than stated, so yay! (Amazon still thinks they're enroute). They're about what I expected for the price, and I certainly won't complain. I plan on shining them up by hand in the coming months. I planned on these as a nice start for learning that. Seller was very honest for quality and size of the stones. People who are surprised by either did not read everything thoroughly or notice the picture with the ruler is showing centimeters not inches.As a rockhound I know the price for opals, and this was on par with what was received.Seller also sent an additional gift that came a few days later with a few larger specimens which was an unexpected bonus. At first I was disappointed in the size of the stones, the longer I have them, the more I love the sizes. When one catches my eye, I carry it in pocket that day. They have the ability to catch my attention with a little glint. They are my daughter’s birthstone, so I often carry her soul along with me. She is a busy mom and attorney. They remind me of her and I send her thoughts of support as I touch them in my pocket during the day.

The first order got lost, but the seller was great about sending a new batch quickly. What I received, compared to the photos and what others received, I am a little disappointed. I give this 3 stars because the seller was very responsive, and the free gift they included had the best opal of them all. I presume this is 5 grams (I have nothing to weigh this with) but the pieces were tiny (smaller than an eraser on a pencil). Some had good color flashes, but the biggest piece had no flash. When I wet it, it went completely clear (Ethiopian opal) but still, no flashes of color. I think the seller tried, hence 3 stars, but I think I got a sub par batch.

What a joke these rocks are nothing but gravel rocks, from now on I'll only buy rocks in person, I'm worried now I ordered more items from this company 🥺update, I saw other posted reviews receiving good stones so I emailed ThrowinStones and they are sending more and are personally going to check to be sure I get a good batch, I will take a picture of them when they get here🙂second update, I love the new ones great big difference plus the other two products I bought from this company are great too, thank you ThrowinStones for making it right🤗

As you can see in the picture that is presented by the seller it looks like they are beautiful stones and they’re not teeny weenie. But as you can see in my picture they weren’t worth $16. They are super small and 2 stones don’t even have any color at all. They are the size of Pea gravel. Totally disappointed they were a gift for my grandson because he loves collecting stones.

Poor quality, very small, shipping/tracking info was unavailable, Amazon shows it still not delivered. I mistakenly thought it would be half a pound with larger sizes. Compared to buying these long distance, I could have bought half a pound of them as fish tank stones from a local pet store for a better price. Buyers beware.
