This product is expeller pressed (high heat), versus cold pressed ( maintains all the oils beneficial integrity).Please clarify the difference and why you choose to expeller press?Large batches and cheaper for you, Hurts the product, and consumer.

First keep in mind that all cold pressed oils are expeller pressed but not all expeller pressed oils are cold pressed. Once upon a time most oils use to be extracted by hand but most companies today use machines. With cold pressed oils steps are taken to minimize the heat that is created by friction from the machines, whereas with the expeller process alone doesn't take any precautions to minimize the heat from the friction on the machines. Some processes involve the application of intentional heat above the recommended level (122 degrees), the recommended levels varies by country so consider where it comes from and research accordingly. Also keep in mind that majority if not all oils are processed by machine, and it would be impossible to elliminate all (even with cold pressed) heat that's why there are established acceptible levels (85 to 122 degress, and remember it varies by country). The company may not be adding heat intentionally its just what's created by the machine, so you would have to look into that. The cold pressed process is important with oils where a flavor or natural fragrance is to be presserved (i.e. olive or coconut oil). As a consumer I am more concerned with the use of chemicals (i.e. Hexane) which some companies use because it results in a higher oil yield. These chemicals used for proessing oils or those put in all prodcuts that are not natural organic (check ingredients, not just the label) should be a greater cause of concern and avoided accordingly. So to answer your question when I see expeller pressed I know steps weren't taken to minimize the heat from fricition caused by the machine. If you stick with a reputable company like NOW that has a long history producing quality and mostly natural products, in the case of their Argan oil I would be confident in the product. Research the company, their website, their philosophy and quality standards and if you have a question contact them. NOW has always responed to mine. Also price is not the only factor that should be considered when determining quality as there are many more factors that are way more important. Also from what I've researched about oil processing, the process (cold or expeller) unless chemicals are involved pose no health risks. If you can find a company that's selling hand pressed Argan oil, WOW, because that would be rare and I'm sure pretty darn expensive.

Is this mixed with any other oils. Or is it just argan oil ONLY?

100% Argan oil, it is great stuff!

Is the dropper (not the bottle) glass or plastic? One review said it was plastic, but I wanted to check.

The NOW argan oil dropper is plastic. I have used three brands of argan oil and all droppers are plastic.

Hello- I got the shipment today of the Argan oil, completely frozen. Will the product still be the same after it thaws?

I think most oils are fine frozen-it would be overheating that would ruin it. Mine was pretty cold when it came, but still works like it should. It seems to be lightening my under eye circles, and it's the only oil I can put on my face that doesn't break me out.
