Great Headphones at a Great Price, "Sounds" Great don't it?
When it comes to headphones there are a lot of choices Beats Audio, Skull Candy, and more, however when you are on a budget and looking for quality without having to shell out a lot of money these headphones are for you. At my son's elementry school one of the items on the back to school shopping list is a pair of headphones. Every few months it never fails that he comes home from school complaining that his headphones no longer work. Most of the time is the issue was from the speaker wires inside the ear piece detaching most likely from bumping around in his backpack. Since he has started school we have not had to deal with him coming home with broken headphones nor have we had to deal with his complaints of them being hard to hear out of as that was another issue with other lower cost headphones. These headphones have a solid sound to them. You could never compare them to say Beats Audio but for the money you are going to get a quality pair of headphones that are very durable. Pros: Low cost Good quality sound Fast Shipping Excellent brand Fits my 8 year old very comfortably Cons: Not sound proof (was not an issue for our needs)

Great for the price
Good headphones for the price. Comfortable and the sound is good.

Very cheap and comfortable!
Bought these for $9.95 - hard to believe its so cheap. The sound is decent IMO. It does not have a lot of base but other than that its OK. The most important aspect of these headphones is that they are comfortable to wear for long period of time. I tried many different headphones and almost all hurt my ears/head after 20+ minutes, but these don't. If you don't have a lot of money - buy these!

Good For A Backup
First thing I noticed, freshly out of the box, was a relatively thin cord, but average length. So it has to be handled gently if you plan to reach an average service life. The sound is about about average for this price range up to those costing about twice as much. A bit disappointing, although not a deal breaker in my book, are the adjustments, for keeping the ear pieces the length you set, are not very strong, so it may change after you set it. In fact, plan on it changing -- although not preventing me from using it. I don't regret the purchase, but I would not repurchase for myself (because I use headphones several hours a day and appreciate better quality).

Accurate and balanced
These headphones have accurate, balanced sound reproduction. They don't emphasize the bass, so the sound is not as rich as some other headphones. They're also comfortable; the over-ear design is bulky and not terribly good-looking, but if you're more interested in sound than style, these headphones are a solid choice.

Excellent sound, but a desired feature is missing.
This is a factual review based on my experience as a new Philips headphone user. Pros: 1. Excellent sound: I chose the Philips SHP1900 for its advertised balanced audio. As someone who values clarity over bass, I’ve found the sound to be clean, well-rounded, and consistently clear—perfect for long listening sessions. 2. Comfortable large ear cups: I didn’t need to adjust the headband at all. Despite having small ears, the ear cups fit comfortably right out of the box. I can wear them for about an hour before switching to another pair for a break—impressive for their size. Cons: 1. “Compact” doesn’t mean “foldable”: After years of using different headphones, I associate “compact” with foldable ear cups for easier storage. These do not fold. While they’re small enough to fit in a backpack, they take up shelf space when stored. The lack of a folding design is one reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. 2. No paperwork included: The “What’s in the Box” section states the package includes a “quick start guide” and “warranty.” Mine contained only the headphones. While I appreciate less paper waste, misleading inclusions undermine trust. Documentation that isn’t there shouldn’t be listed. Bottom Line: I recommend the SHP1900 for its excellent sound and comfort. I’m sharing this review so future buyers know: these are compact but not foldable, and paperwork may not be included. I’ll use and enjoy these until they wear out—but next time, I’ll choose a different Philips model.

Great for all uses, computer, music, streaming, etc
Using for sound editing and classes in general but great for any use! Wonderful and though bulky, the headphones stay on fine and are comfortable. I had them on while working on my projects and they're light, the cord is a decent length so no restrictions OR pulling from being plugged in! My second pair as well, love these headphones

Different than the org model
Too tight for my head and it is heavier than the old model. The original model was lighter and ear piece fits perfectly.

Increibles cascos.

:D Bottomline: grazie Philips! :)

I use these for listening to music at work. It doesn't entirely block sound out (well unless it's full volume), but it's just the job well enough, so that i can listening to music whilst I get on with work in an environment that can get a little loud at times (open plan office). Long wire. Doesn't completely cup my ears - as in I don't feel like they're 'sealed' in, but still very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. My colleague who usually wear plug-in earphones used them and said he felt like he was in a club! So that can't be all bad right? Bought them for £10. Overall, if you're looking for a set of earphones that blocks out sounds (like an open floor plan), and good quality music, but on a budget, I highly recommend these! UPDATE Nov 2012: Almost a year later and they're still working just fine! Just the wire gets a bit twisted. UPDATE May 2013: Still going strong and have decided to up it to 5 out of 5 stars - it's a good price and I listened through some other headphones the other day which were awful and tinny - made me appreciate these so much more. Would buy again.
