I love these little hoops! I got out of the habit of earrings....I've had these in for 9 months now. Lightweight, hypoallergenic and strong, they don't bother me at all, and stay a closed perfect circle. Yes...they are tricky to open. Force is not the answer. Here are a few tips: The hinge is more visible than the clasp....run your finger over the ring to find the seam for the clasp part, and gently (but firmly!) lift straight up (no twisting) towards the hinge. You have to work at it a little, but it will open. Practice opening and closing a few times before sticking in your piercing. This is not great for new piercings....its tiny and has a curve. It can be done, but better to have a healed hole.That being said...once they're in and snapped down correctly, you have a perfect little almost seamless circle. I have had an ear piercing for 44 years which has gotten temperamental just about every time I've put an earring in it...spinning this little hoop around and cleaning it often, I feel like its in better shape than its ever been.

I would mostly give this product a 4.5 but I give it 5 stars because I like the 4 different sizes, they are comfy, are secure, haven’t turned my ears green, and haven’t irritated my ears. I have really sensitive ears but these haven’t caused any inflammation. The only con is that the are a little tricky to snap into place but once they are connected they do not come undone. I haven’t tried taking them out but I would assume that would be kinda tedious as well. Luckily my job allows ear piercings so that’s not a problem for me. Overall, I think it is a good find I mean you get 8 rings with 4 different sizes for a fair price. Plus I’ve been getting so many compliments on them

I personally used these earrings as standard earrings for my lobes and second lobe holes. Wanted something that I could just leave and sleep in with out discomfort. They are all easy to snap into place except the small one, that one takes some effort to close and reopen. So I basically use it for the second lobe hole and just leave for a while.

I don't ever take my 5 earrings out unless I'm forced to for a medical procedure or test. Inexpensive hoops I've had in the past have eventually tarnished where they touch my skin for so long. But I've been wearing this set for 7 months straight and they still look new. I also have never even gotten close to losing one. They stay locked and don't take forever to get them clasped like others often do. The only thing I don't like is that the smallest size is so tiny that I couldn't get my fingers to be able to hold them open correctly to get them in my other 2 ear piercings, so just left those out. Just bought a second set as a backup. Highly recommend!

These are sized as described, Metal seems to be good (just got them yesterday, will update review if they fail later or tarnish)Clips stink. I was able to get all six of the airings clasped once in my ear but I had to practice a few times on one before I put it in my piercing. You just have to get the right angle in a mirror and pull the hoop apart just enough to get the latch to reengage.***update *** I’ve been wearing these nonstop 24/7 for FIVE YEARS and no issues.

I have 13 ear piercings and have been wearing sterling silver hoops for years. Recently, for some reason, they’ve begun to tarnish continuously. So I love that these are stainless steel and will not tarnish, but they are so difficult to snap closed! It takes forever to put them back in if I have to take them out for X-rays or some other reason. I really wish the latch point was made differently. Other than that, I really like them.

I put one ear ring in today. I have my outer conch pierced. I had to use the size under the large. I’m they’re kind of thick so I had to force it in. I had trouble closing it, but I finally got it (don’t give up). It’s really sturdy and won’t break. I slept in it & it’s the most comfortable ear ring I’ve ever had in. It’s really cute and not too big. I’ll be ordering more & I recommend the product. Especially for the price

I bought these just for the small hoops. I needed one for my helix, and these were very affordable. I’ve worn it continuously for the past six months and it hasn’t turned color or irritated my sensitive skin at all. I’ve ordered others in the past that claimed to be 316 only to be disappointed. It’s sturdy and hasn’t come unlatched at all, and once latched, it is a smooth continuous hoop that doesn’t snag if it turns in the piercing.
