No stinky stick treat!
Was great, both my Frenchies love it.It doesn’t smell (stinky) and for a medium chewer, it last a good while (but still consumable in a day). For my super chewer boy, the life expectancy of one stick is about 3min as this is skinny stick (so he gnaw for a min and jist eat the whole stick down his throat!). If your dog is a gentle chewer, this will keep them busy for hour(s).Also after scarfing a stick, it doesn’t seem to mess with their tummy which I find relief. Package doesn’t come as ziplock type so you’ll need to secure the closure for freshness.

Dog Preferred
These turkey tendon "stix" are preferred by our two dogs over similar brands. Perhaps it's the U.S. turkey, I don't know, but the dogs certainly do, for they choose the Alfreschi treat laying alongside another brand.

The Big Guy LOVES these, but they disappear VERY quickly
Our King Shepherd, Tatanka, absolutely loves these Turkey Tendon treats, so much so, he insists on bringing in the Amazon box from the front entrance, so he can open the package and then "persuade" me to open the package and give him one of these. One small issue is he thinks EVERY Amazon box should have a case of these Turkey Tendon's in it. At the rate its going, that just might happen............If I move too slowly, he will take it upon himself to rip open the main Amazon box and then get the box of the Turkey Tendons torn open. I just don't want to risk him tearing open the plastic packaging or getting a hold of the "freshness packet" somehow as that's not to be ingested or chewed upon......The Good news, he likes them so much, I can convince him to do what he needs to do, in order to get one. For example, he is a super picky eater, but when I let him know he can have one of these knotted Turkey Tendon's if he eats his dinner, the dinner disappears. He tends to be very stubborn, but he will eat his dinner, so he can have one of these treats. We have purchased the tendon strips, the tendon rings and the tendon "knotted chews", which are the subject of this review. The strips literally don't last a minute. The tendon rings, he eats them like they are Onion Rings (which dogs should NEVER have, as onions are not good for them.....) but the tendon rings are about the same size and even look sort of like onion rings, that's why I made the reference. If I would let him, Tatanka would eat these like nacho chips. We try and use them to either encourage the desired behavior or reward the best behavior. Don't get me wrong, he's a very intelligent and well behaved K9, he just knows what he wants and is very determined to get what he wants.....so it often comes down to a test of wills. (ok, I will admit, I lose often as he just has that face that hard to tell no)....Plus he and I are best pals. From all appearances, the Turkey Tendon treats appear to be a healthier treat as they claim. Our big guy is in excellent health and his blood tests are all good, his body weight is perfect. But that's because moderation is used.If It were up to Tonkee, he would eat the entire box for dinner. But he eats Farmers Dog Fresh Food and gets these Turkey Tendons purely as a treat and no more than 1 per day........(well, usually no more than once per day, as I mentioned, he is very persuasive and I am a softie when it comes to this big guy).I prefer these over any raw hides, etc for my guy. He doesn't like 99% of the dog treats on the market, simply not interested in any of them and won't even take them. But these, he loves......Somehow, these are now on our Auto Shipment or Subscription. A case of the knotted chews and a case of the rings......wonder how that happened? Thank goodness for the discount coupon of nearly $30 I have been able to use for the last several months. Expensive, but worth it as he absolutely LOVES these Turkey Tendons............

Great but advice for small dogs
My dog a "Chug" (Chihuahua & pug mix) loves them. My main advice who owns a small dog would be, attach a small vice grip to the end of the treat to prevent them from swallowing large soft parts.Trust, if they like it, which they will, they will ignore the wrench and eat on to the end

Turkey Tendons? More Like Pup-Approved Perfection!
These treats are more like a dogs cat nip...Benefits:These Turkey Tendons are a fantastic source of protein and natural nutrients. I love that they’re made from real turkey, which makes me feel good about what I’m giving my pup. They help keep my girl’s teeth cleaner and are great for maintaining healthy gums and teeth. Plus, they keep her energetic and happy throughout the day!Size:The size of these tendons is just right for my small dog, she’s around 9 pounds. Even when I cut one in half, it’s still perfect for her to enjoy without being overwhelming. Meanwhile she'll gets the zoomies and kindly chomps down on my fingers with the piece cut in half or not.Chewability:My pup absolutely loves to chew on these! The texture is perfect toughness enough to keep her occupied but not so hard that she struggles. It keeps her engaged and helps promote healthy chewing habits.Smell:The smell is surprisingly pleasant, not overpowering like some other dog treats I’ve used. It has a natural aroma that makes my best friend excited every time I reach for the bag!Choking Risk & Stomach Issues:I do keep an eye on her while she enjoys these treats, as they can be a little tough. It’s important to supervise to prevent any choking risk, especially if your dog is an aggressive chewer. Also, I’ve been using this product since 2019, and I’ve noticed here and there that the dates on the products are not within the typical two-year expiration date expectancy. I did see some white spots on a couple of pieces that looked like sawdust, but luckily my dog didn’t seem to have any stomach issues unlike how others have stated in their reviews. I always recommend monitoring your pups health after trying something new; their skin, hair, gut, private area, excretion, and the easiest of them all! A moist plump nose. :)Summarization:Overall, these Turkey Tendons are a hit in our household! Even when my uncle's dog, my grandmother's dog, my aunt's dog, and my cousin's dog come over, I always give them the option of which treat to snatch out of my hand and this one is just an absolute banger! I’ve already purchased them 10 times through Amazon. Highly recommended for any dog owner looking for a tasty, healthy, and everlasting treat!

My dog’s favorite
My dog is obsessed with these. She literally does not leave me alone if she knows I have a bag of these at my desk. Shes a German shepherd and goes through them quick- they aren't chews but rather quick treats.

These are like
My friend purchased some of these as stocking stuffers for our dogs last Christmas. All our dogs practically inhaled them! We call it "puppy crack", as they will sit in front of their stockings and whine for them. I love the natural ingredients and apparently so do they! My only complaint...they don't last very long. I have a chi-weenie mix, not a large dog by any means and this bone was gone within fifteen minutes (hence the lower star rating).
