Mega seal, mega strong
This product line is a real gem for my camping food needs. I used for my instant coffee that is a must when I’m backpacking and the tight seal and wide bottom are clutch. Takes some force to seal but I like that a great deal. I’m confident it is sealed. Also pictured is my stash of camping matches. I soaked the bag of matches under water overnight and they remain bone dry today.Well made, extremely high quality product.

Not good quality
These lasted about a week. I used the medium size one about 3 times and then it wouldn’t close at all. I was putting some lunch meat and lettuce in them so they weren’t overloaded and the product just failed. I found these to be difficult to close from the start but they did close when first received. They don’t fold flat and are difficult to store because of that. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

So far, so good!
In trying to cut down on one-time use plastic bags, in lunches for me and my teenager, and after reading a lot of reviews, I gave these Keeper Reusable Snack Bags (set of 5) a shot and so far, we're very impressed! I gave them a hand wash, before use and the only drawback in that was finding a way to prop them in the dish drainer properly so they'll dry. With that challenge figured out (setting over a narrow cup or a utensil sticking out of the drainer cup or along the side of the drainer in the 'cup tabs' worked well enough... shaking them out helps minimize and the water does shake out fairly well), I set to task to see how well they sealed.I pulled them apart, at the mouth, and the seal was tough to open. That could be a downfall with someone who has arthritic issues or weakness in the hands, but it surely makes for a tight seal. I filled with some water and tried sealing the way I would seal a zipper style one use baggie... and got confused. the seal wouldn't stay sealed... hrmm... I persisted and remembered the old Ziploc commercials that pinched at one end, squeezed the seal to the end and the snap at the end told you it was sealed (that may actually have been the commercials tagline, if memory serves). I tried that method and LO! IT WORKED!... i flipped the water filled bag upside down and not a drop. The small bags seem ideal for lunch items like grapes, berries, cookies... consider them like the snack size bags... the medium ones are gonna be great for chips and because the bottom is gusseted, they will be sturdier and keep the chips from crushing (which will happen when shoved into the teenager's backpack, no doubt). The large one I'll keep on hand for leftovers or storage or what comes to mind. I really like that the bags can stand on their own and offer better protection than traditional one use baggies. The seams are way more solid than plastic baggies. The bag of the bags note holding capacity in both fluid ounces and dry cups. Also each is noted as being food safe, freezer safe and travel friendly, in addition they are marked to be hand washed only. No dishwasher here, so no worries. Other reviewers noted that the seal failed after long time use, which can happen with any squeeze zipper mechanism, over time, so if that happens, I'll update my review, but until then, I highly recommend these lovely alternatives to our overuse of one use plastics.

Not very durable and they never air dry.
I really wanted to like these after using so many plastic baggies. First use, my kid threw it away, my bad. I didn't tell her to keep them. She's 4. Anyways. After using them 2 times, I was already annoyed by how they never dry unless you towel them out yourself (I hand washed them as per instructions), I was drying one tonight that was only used for goldfish, and not many, and it straight ripped down the seam while I was very carefully hand drying it out because, again, they never dry no matter how open you leave them on the drying rack. I really wanted to like them but looks like I'm back to killing the environment. I hope they are recyclable because that is where I threw the trashed one.

Need bionic fingers to open
These are just as advertised. They are heavy weight and water tight if closed properly. In fact, they work so well it is quite difficult to get them open. That could be a problem for younger hands if used in lunch bags and it is a definite problem for older hands or hands that lack strength. Otherwise, they're great storage and certainly a greener option to replace single use zip lock bags.Revised:After several months of use, I am revising my overall rating. I've found these haven't really held up well, even though they have always been hand-washed and never microwaved. The tight closure I once thought would be a plus, has turned into a serious deficit. They have become almost warped, no longer maintain a good seal and once you do get them closed it's a frustrating challenge to get back open. And forget it if, used for frozen goods, they are a solid mass impossible to manipulate without running under hot water.

Great Bags!
So I just got these bags yesterday but I can already tell that they will fit my needs. I wanted a bag that was big enough to hold leftover pizza that we always seem to have on Friday nights. In a previous life, I used to stick the leftover slices in the gallon ziplocs and now I am stick them in a glass pyrex container. However, I wanted a solution that was reusable but didn't take up a lot of real estate in my fridge. The 64 oz bag that came with this set will do that for me and I can't wait to put them to use. They are so much more larger than my other reusable bags and they seal very similar to ziplocs. I only wish they sold the large size individually, as I rather get five of the 64 oz bags and not the smaller sizes.

Poor product. Good customer service.
This product's Customer Service is great. I had a few bags in my first order that did not close properly. The zip top closures did not line up, rendering the bags useless for my chosen purpose (lunch packing and food storage). I contacted customer service who promptly sent me an entire set of new bags and refunded me for the first set of bags purchased. Unfortunately, the second set of bags has the same problem. Now I have roughly 8 bags that are useless. Poor product, but good customer service.

Handy and reusable
I've been looking for reusable storage bags to replace the disposable ziplock bags I always use. These are doing a good job so far. They are lightweight and fairly easy to close. I am hoping that, since they are made out of PEVA a supposedly safer plastic, we don't find out that they are just as toxic as all other plastics for storing food. Keeping my fingers crossed because I do like these.
