Handy, small & legal in most jurisdictions. Great little pocket knife
Overall apx knife size 2 1/2 inches closed or 4 1/2 inches open. It weighs apx 22 grams or about the weight of 4 US nickels. Both the straight and serrated blades are 2 inches long which is legally allowed in California including all municipalities such as LA and Oakland that have the most restrictive knife laws in the state. This Spyderco knife is of quality construction of stainless steel materials. It was received almost razor sharp, without any detectable play between the 8Cr13MoV blades and handle. The straight blade is 7/8 inches wide from its 3/16 inch thick spine to the cutting edge with a 5/8 inch diameter hole to assist with opening. The serrated blade is also 3/16 inch thick, 1/4 inch wide cutting depth with a 1/2 inch wide tip having a 1/4 inch hole to assist with opening. I find it requires two hands to open. Neither are locking blades. This knife has a clip which could be detached by removing 3 screws and it grips securely. I clip mine to the top of my denim pants watch pocket for secure carrying and easy access. This knife is an excellent cutting tool. This cutting tool is suitable to open boxes, cut cords, car safety belts and can even be used when dining as a steak knife etc. Be aware if it's with you and you have need to pass through TSA, NSA security check points, Courts or other facilities or localities where knives are prohibited, or it would be confiscated. I strongly suggest researching pocket knife laws especially when traveling outside the US. It was legal in South Korea and Canada but not in Mexico. It’s small size and light weight makes it easy to forget it's with you. Such a handy tool would be missed if lost. Overall this Spyderco knife model is small and light and has proven itself a nice lil' tool.THERE ARE 3 VERSIONS. The one reviewed has two blades, one serrated and one plain blade. Another has a plain knife blade and scissors. The third version has a plan blade and a screwdriver, bottle opener. Be aware to specify the version you want when ordering.

"Adorable"
I bought this knife for my wife. I've been collecting/carrying pocket knives (mainly spyderco's) for a while now and have been trying to convince her that she needs to carry a pocket knife for about as long. She has had zero interest. I did buy her an opinel #08 because she liked the older style of it but it wasn't the type of knife for her to carry. Recently, I purchased a Raffir-Noble chaparral and the One-eyed jack. Slowly she started to show interest in these knives. Then a few others, then a few more... Finally, she agreed and before she had the chance to reconsider, I purchased this knife. I knew she would think it was "adorable" and that maybe, just maybe it could be a gateway drug. I'm hoping her next stop will be the dragonfly tattoo. Then, maybe up to a delica. But alas, these are the ramblings of a dreamer...Having said all that, for a $25 range, small knife it's made very well. Pretty good fit and finish, sharp as hell and it actually is "adorable". It's about the size of a Spyderco grasshopper. It's not quite as big as a Spyderco dragonfly.I did take out the pivot screws and put a little blue locktite on them. I don't know if I had to but they felt a smidge loose. Better safe than sorry.

Quality Compact Go-To Blade and Bottle Opener
I own other larger Spyderco knives and my first impression of this knife is that it is well built. It is a solid and compact pocket knife with a nice bottle opener that is approximate to the length of the blade and tipped with a slotted and two-dimensional Phillips screwdriver. In other words you can shove the flathead screwdriver into a philips screw if needed. The thumb hole on the blade is there to assist in pulling out the blade while holding the handle with the other hand. I was able to forcefully and clumsily do it with one hand like a normal EDC blade but it is difficult. As an owner of many other blades, especially everyday carry blades, you may have to get used to the fact this is not a flip knife. The bottle opener also has a small thumb hole that does not protrude out as much and but it is is there to allow you to more easily pull out the bottle opener. The opener folds out on the same side as the blade. It does come with a clip that is held on by three screws and based on the knife's size I'm debating removing the clip since I purchased this to be a bottle opener and perhaps a quick go to knife for packages when grilling. My only real criticism of it is that I wish it was about 25% larger and easier to open with one hand. You should definitely refer to the size comparison charts that show it in a hand to get the real impression of just how compact it is. The overall size of the product when closed is 4.59 inches and the blade is just over 2 inches and it weighs 1.9 ounces. You can also find video reviews of this product on Youtube to get a better understanding of how well made it is.

Sharp!
Super sharp out of the box. Perfect little knife I just wish it had a locking feature. Great price for what you get. Length of blade is short but that’s what this is for

This is a great little knife....
Take note that some of the product photos show this knife with scissors - they are NOT on this model. It is blade and screwdriver/bottle opener only. This is a great little knife. It's a little heavier than other knives of this size that I've used, but not too heavy. Personally I would prefer the clip facing the other way on the same side so it would fit better in my right pocket, but this is simply personal preference. It's not too thick for pockets, yet just thick enough to sit nicely in the hand. Blade and screw/opener are a bit stiff for opening/closing (not an easy one handed opener, but it can be done with some practice if you are careful) - I prefer this for non-locking styles as it won't accidentally slip open or closed. The screwdriver/bottle opener is pretty sturdy as well. Nice look, sharp blade, and the perfect size for more than a single blade folder. Highly recommend.
