Got this little mat to go inside the posh litter tray cupboard in the lounge. While it's not as big as I should have bought (which is on me measuring badly while being 'helped' by two kittens) it still reduces substrate drift significantly. A very worthwhile addition to pet ownership.If you have a hidden litter tray like I do, a mat inside and another at the doorway makes all the tracking difference. Highly recommended (please note, it will not 100% eliminate it)

It might be about the cat's character. This probably works really well for other cats. Like if a cat likes the feel of the mat, steps onto it very orderly and never misses their litter tray.My cats don't seem to like the feel of the honeycomb structure on their feet. So on their way out of the litter tray they try to jump so far that they don't need to touch the mat and thus scatter a fair bit of the litter.My main beef though is that if a cat misses the litter tray or does a half in/half out deposition, the cleaning of the mat is my least favourite thing in the world to do. Getting cat substances out of the cells is just not something I ever want to do again. So I'm considering looking around for something else.

Have had supposed litter mats before that didnt do as advertised, so was initially sceptical if this one would be any different.Its well packaged and it is folded when it arrives, so you have to give it time to flatten out fully. I did this by placing the litter tray partially on it.From the get go, the mat did what it said it would. Im suitably impressed with how much litter it stops being walked through the house. Obviously, unless your cat wipes it's feet on it, they will still get some bits stuck between toes (if its a finer type of litter) and cabt stop that being transferred. But overall I'm really impressed with how much it stops the general trail of litter I had before I bought it.Impressed. Highly recommend. Just be patient about it being folded and it flattening out initially.

We were having issues with litter bring carried throughout the house, which was unpleasant for everyone. Made worse as we were using natural woodfibre stuff which seemed to really cling to the cats paws and hold the smell in more too.Took a bit of experimentation to work out where best to put it - in some places the cats jumped over it (!) rather than walk on it. Since switching to clumping clay, we now never find litter outside the box. Just once a week pour the stuff from the mat into the bin.Sorted.

Lightweight and effective. Cat litter was getting walked everywhere needing nearly daily sweeping up but now there's hardly any outside the mat.

It does collect some of the litter, but don't expect clean house with this mat. Not saying it's not working, but not 100%...
