Love berenstain bears, old school books that are educational and also teach basic empathy.

This book is helping me teach my son patience as it is harder to explain & teach than to just read it.

Fav series, never knew they had Christian options. Ordered half the series, love them all.

I grew up on the Berenstain books! I read this book to my four-year-old daughter and she loves it. I love the fact that it reference the book of James at the end! I discussed with my daughter about how God wants us all to have patience in the meaning of what it is! This is a great book. I will definitely order more.

Cute book. I don’t love how they mention bible verses but good over all. I read this collection of books as a child and it’s cool You can still buy them now. It’s fun to be able to tell my son I read them when I was a kid too

A really cute book. Brother and Sister are taught the value of hard work and patience - and there's a really nice little "subplot" with Honey. A nice addition to the Living Lights Christian series.

Always enjoyed Berenstain Bears, but Mike Berenstain’s inclusion of scripture along with the lessons are wonderful addition that prompt my kids to ask to see the scripture in their Bibles. ❤️❤️

I bought three of these Christian berenstein books. This was far and away the best of the three. It is about the children growing gardens and needing to work hard and be patient for their plants to grow. Although my kids and I liked this book, I still wish the patience being taught here was about more day to day things kids need to be patient about. I mean, it isn't very relatable for most kids, I guess, to plant a garden. Still, there was enough action and humor to keep my kids interested. And I like the possible seg-way into teaching kids about patience in sharing the gospel.

I didn't realize it was a religious story for indoctrination. I was reading stories to my kid tonight, and I felt relieved he was already asleep when I started reading this one. The story is not about patience. It is about faith and how God might be unfair if you are organized, intelligent and work hard.

This one made me tear up. I read some reviews where people did not understand the story. The message is about patience which it demonstrates by the cubs having to wait for their plants to grow. Some reviewers didn't understand the point of Honey bear's story. Her faith that God would grow her work was so pure and childlike that she had a marvellous result. Brother and sister worked so hard, they also got results, but their faith wasn't a strong as little honey. This is a message about faith versus works. AS WELL AS PATIENCE as they all have to wait to see their plants grow!
