Great fit
This is a great fit for the 2017 HRV and pretty sturdy also. I just slide into the available slot

Good trunk cover
I drive a 2020 Honda HRV. It fit perfectly and cover most of my trunk with a small 2 inch gap between the back seats and the cover. That works out for me because I also use a trunk organizer on my back seat so the gap does make it east to access anything in the organizers top pockets. It has some rigidity to store light weight items on top, but I wouldn't trust it to hold any heavy groceries or tools. Very fast install, it slips into the side grooves in my trunk.I wish it could hold more weight on top, but that's not a deal breaker for me. It conceals anything in my trunk very nicely.

Can’t see anything in the trunk
The trunk cover fit my HRV perfectly. Easily split it into the slot. You absolutely cannot see anything in the trunk with the cover, which was really important to me. It is very stable, and does not feel flimsy at all. It was definitely worth the money.
