These are about 2 ½ inches longer than the original antennas that came with my Kenwood TK-2100. Seems to have pretty good coverage; as in distance. I was able to get up to 4 miles, with these antennas.

Product works, but the black plastic sheath over the antenna came off when I screwed the antenna on with very little pressure. It slides back on but I now need to reglue it. It feels more like a semi-flexible plastic vs the more rubber like kenwood one that was originally on the radio. For a hobby radio this might work fine, but if you depend on your radio (law enforcement/fire), I would look elsewhere. Extremely fast shipping.

This antenna works better than the original antenna that came with the radio.
