Been taking this for more than a year. When you take Niacin, your body breaks it down and makes Niacinamide from it. So I just take the purer form to begin with. Niacina,ide is considered since 1943 an excellent product to fight memory loss. I don't know why is not among the doctors favorite,maybe is inconvenient for big pharma but no doubt is good.
