though it is labeled for pain, cramps, inflammation, aches, etc. ... and, yes, it does those jobs very effectively... this product is also very effective as an age-old elixir for itching between toes(from wearing socks all day) and itching in your groin area..(from prolonged skin-skin contact)... more commonly known as athlete's foot & jock itch... and, nothing clears it up and reduces the itching from athlete's-itches like Absorbine Jr... nothing! i have tested out a couple dozen products, both OTC and prescription, and nothing both instantly alleviates the itching and clears up the root cause in a day or two! I recall it at my Grandmother's place in the 60s to the early 70s and it was always on hand for her very active grandkids, who played all day in socks and sneakers, hence itching between toes was prevalent and getting out the Absorbine Jr. was just business as usual! it smells the same and looks the same as it did 40+ years ago... and, still does the job just as effectively!!! It must have some inactive ingredient that aides in cutaneous penetration... because, it most definitely does not remain superficial and it absorbs exceptionally well and you can feel it penetrating the layers of your skin... this penetration is great for the muscles and it clears up those itches and the start of that fungi in a few treatments/couple days max... and, it is helping a great deal with the muscle aching phenomenon (motor neurons dying) associated with als (lou gehrig's)... i feel it is equivalent to Penetrex, in it's ability to alleviate very cramped, inflamed, or painful, uncomfortable muscles, yet Penetrex does not have the athletee's-itches eliminating capabilities that Absorbine Jr. has. Penetrex is also available here on Amazon. it is a very effective product and works to minimize or reduce it's claims and i use Absorbine Jr. alternatively with the Penetrex to reduce muscle discomfort; one day - Absorb. This is amazing. What I use it for is not for pain. It is the best product for repelling gnats mosquitoes flies. Everything there’s hands-down nothing that compares to this. This improves your quality of life significantly.

This is the best topical medicine ever to releave pain in hands, feet, knees, back. My Mom introduced this to me several years back when she was alive. She always found the best medicines to relieve aches and pains. This is one of the greatest items my Mom ever introduced me to. My wife love it too. Just recently she pulled the tendon in the back of her foot. I applied this to her ankle and tendon and instantly she was able to move freely. Of course she took precautions to not further injur herself; however, this is one of those items that you should pack in your Go-Bag! Take Hiking, Camping, on Vacation, etc.
