Very nice Jigs but aren't 1/16 oz more like 1/8 or more

Notably fewer hang-ups than with regular heads, better hook-sets, and the plastics absolutely *do not* slip off. I thought the price was kinda high before I bought them, but I've changed my mind - the redfish in Tampa Bay all voted "YES" on them!

If you're looking for some nice 1/8th oz jig heads then buy the 1/16th oz ones. I weighed them on a precision scale; they run twice as heavy as advertised. Or maybe I got a mislabeled batch. I'd have given 5 stars if they'd had really been 1/16.

Large hook.. heavier than 1/16.. tried saltwater. No rust. Good sharp jighead n secures bait well

I've used a lot of local jig head types and out of all these so far have stood the test of time on inshore saltwater fishing. The lead construction bonding to the hook holds up to punishment from toothy trout to hammering redfish. But most of all if you like to use Gulp baits from shrimp to shad and worms this jig has done the best at gripping the spongy gulp baits. Most other jigs will work a few casts then the gulp will slip to the back of the hook. The price here saves me a few bucks but the convenience factor is great, starting around October/November you'll not find these in the area thanks to the flounder fever.
