I'm very pleased with this monitor overall. The colors are vivid and bright, and the viewing angles are good. I don't play a lot of fast-paced action games, but the refresh rate seems adequate in what I've seen so far. Assembly was easy. An HDMI cable is included, but it's a bit on the short side, so be forewarned.There's a tiny, faint smudge under the glass on the upper left that looks like an errant speck of dust, but it's not a huge deal and not worth sending the monitor back over. I honestly forget it's there most of the time. The button placement is a little unusual -- under the bottom frame -- but you get used to that after a while. The speakers are indeed terrible, as they're on the back of the monitor. Just use headphones with the provided jack. For this price, you're not going to get an adjustable monitor. Prop it up on some books and you'll be fine.

Beautiful screen for a really reasonable price! Perfect size for using Photoshop, playing games, and streaming shows. I love that it has multiple inputs so I can use my MacBook for work and with a press of a button switch over to my personal PC if they are both turned on. Getting to the menu confused me at first, but to access the menu you press 1, not the arrows. To switch between inputs you press the 2 button. The back is a little tricky to plug your cables in because the base is so close so you have to bend your wires a bit to fit, but it works with some wiggling. The white screen looks really nice on my white desk and looks classier than all of the black screens out there. Came without any scratches or flaws. As long as the screen lasts a long time this is a perfect screen for the price!

This is a very high quality panel priced much lower than the closest competition (Dell).Pros: + Excellent color reproduction + Realistic contrast + Anti Glare coating is very effective without distorting the picture + IPS provides very good viewing angles without color distortion + VESA compatible with downward facing I/O port. + Built in speakers that work over HDMI + Good picture adjustability in soft-menuCons: - White plastic looks cheap. (Too bad there isn't a black-on-black version) - Build quality isn't very high - Stand isn't height adjustable. - No display-port input (Just VGA, 2xHDMI) - Speakers are awful, as are most flat panel displays.I am using a DisplayPort to HDMI cable from a HP laptop to this screen and the sound carries over the cable, which is very nice. I wasn't really surprised by the built-in speakers lack of quality. Apple, it seems, is the only manufacturer who takes the time to make built-in-speakers sound good.The build-quality of this monitor suffers mostly due to a flexible plastic frame and the screen bezel being glued to said frame. The upper right corner of my screen separated from the frame. This would otherwise be unnoticeable except for the light leaking out from the panel. This is also the reason I gave the monitor 4 stars instead of five.If you need an inexpensive 1080 panel that has excellent color reproduction and clarity, this is as good as it gets. If you want one that looks beautiful even when turned-off, you may want to look elsewhere as the cheap looking plastic around the back and bottom are not quite up to the challenge.

The screen went out after 4 months of use. The quality was good until then. But it say on a desk and was not abused in any way and one day the screen went pink. I tried switching out cables and found that it was the monitor itself that was the problem.

I more than pleased with my purchase. The resolution is superb making the pictures as if they could come out and touch you. I did not have to make one adjustment to the Monitor at all. It was ready to go right out of the box. Needless to say... I must admit the clarity is much better than I thought it would be. I mainly purchased this Monitor for Photo Editing. I am more than pleased with the results. There is no light leakage on my screen whatsoever. I read a few post where there was some light leakage around the edges. Sometimes it just comes down to having that perfect marriage between the PC and Monitor. The Monitor is very light as stated in the Specs. No big deal. The white plastic gives it a nice touch; however, it does not have that solid type of build to it. The speakers are not good at all. That is really the only negative thing I have to say about it. You would be better off having a set of your own. Bottom line... you will not be disappointed. I never right comments about my purchases so that should speak for itself.

I have 2 issues with this monitor, regardless of the replacement. The first time, I had on the top right hand corner, there was a hollow opening between the screen and the outer frame about 2 cm wide where you can see the LED light from the background. That had really bothered me so I had called amazon for a replacement. They were really friendly and got this out a.s.a.p. The second time around, the issue is still present but instead its on the other side. I got fed up of calling and waiting for customer service and having to drop this off at a UPS store. For 160 dollars, I had A LOT more expectations on these monitors but the way its made, seems poor to me.As far as the screen resolution, I think its nice and its clear expecially if you are a gamer. Good response time and a lot of different options to cover up the darkness or (shadow) when playing any FPS game.Would I get this monitor again? My answer is not for 160 bucks. The quality of the exterior seems very poor but the LED lights and screen seems clear. Maybe if its like 120, then YES.

La imagen es muy buena, me llamó la atención que el cable de poder traía una marca blanca hecha a mano y había hojas de árbol adentro de la caja, pero por lo demás todo bien.

Seamos claros, por el precio ofertado es un magnífico monitor, el acabado es bastante bonito, sencillo, el uso de controles correcto.Calidad de imagen, lo he usado con ofimática, series, videojuegos y bastante bien en todos los casos.

Very good product. Sound quality is good normally and even at high vol, but not that great esp. at very high volume, but one can't expect a PRO grade speaker in a monitor. Wisely enough they have given an audio out port on the monitor which can connect to a speaker if needed - wonderful idea ! Amazing product. Viewsonic has been the best in monitors ever since I've known and won many awards for it's products - this product has kept up to it's reputation.

Són unas pantallas excel·lentes. La resolución y el angulo de visión són excel·lentes. Posibilidad de cambiar ràpidamente de entrada con los botones, mucha variedad de conexiones, altavoces integrados muy buenos aunque tampoco esperemos que suenen muy fuerte, en habitación pequeña perfectos, pero por ejemplo en una sala se van a quedar cortos. Me gusto tanto que en unos meses compre la segunda para hacer escritorio con doble pantalla y estoy encantado con ellas, además en cuanto a diseño también són muy muy bonitas. El precio és acertadísimo!
