Wow great color and clear picture.Megapixel technology usually refers to IP/network cameras. This camera is actually an analog compatible with the higher resolution TVL. I purchased one to connect to my existing system at the office where cameras range from in the office to into the warehouse with different bullets and domes. It was easy for me to switch out a camera with this 1.3MP camera from eEsecure. The switch was easy and I was fairly impressed with the resolution versus the 700TVL ones I have. I think I will eventually replace all my cameras with this 1.3MP . The night vision is amazing and I tested it by placing a package about 60ft away and when I viewed it, I was still able to see the package. Nice.

These are ok cams. If you can ignore the distorted bar going across both of these I bought then the picture quality is good. The zoom and focus screws are tight but once you work them back and forth they loosen some. A cheap 1200 tvl cam is not as good as a 700 t/l quality unit. They will fit in the 99-150 range though. I have bought over 6 different cams, still in search of the holy grail of analog cams.

Don't buy this piece of crap. The picture quality is HORRIBLE!! To say it is a 1200TVL is just ridiculous!! I was expecting clarity and definition and didn't get either. I resorted back to my 540tvl for a much better image.

Dead right out of the box. Using two known good power supplies and 2 good video cables, I could get the night vision IR's to light up, but only slightly, but there was still no video signal sent to my DVR.

This camera is actually analog compatible with higher resolution TVL camera I bought a lot for my clients' existing CCTV system at the offices or homes. It is easy for me to switch old camera with this 1200TVL camera from eEsecure. However the camera may not be suitable to all CIF resolution DVRs. Some of CIF resolution DVRs show the image worst than old camera. Other than that, 960H DVRs or above show clear image. The night vision is awesome. I tested it by placing a box about 60ft away and I can still viewed it. I will definitely buy more for future upgrades.
