If you ignore the instructions you can have the same results!
As you can see from the attached picture I succeeded in germinating my seeds. I shall include at the END of my review instructions for how to ensure this process takes place and you do not waste your money or give a disappointing gift.Let us discuss the product as it comes. The package arrives as a boxed wooden cube which contains some grainy material, three dehydrated seeds in a plastic wrapper and instructions on the black strip of cardboard for how to encourage germination. My issues are with both the cube and the instructions. One important factor that the instructions fail to mention is you will need to use DISTILLED water and not tap. In most areas of the United Kingdom, tap water contains fluoride which some plants can not handle. Therefore, if you soak these seeds in tap water for 24 hours you will kill the seed. I cannot comment on the germination procedure they suggest as I did not nor have I ever tried it. The cube itself seems far too small to support even one of these seeds. The 'granulate' looks odd but as I said I did not use the method suggested on the instructions and neither did I use the cube. With my very basic knowledge of plant care, I can say that the cube aspect of the product is a gimmick. The material which you are meant to grow the seed doesn't look like anything but paving dirt. The cube is far too small and the suggestions for how to germinate the seeds are lacking in vital information. However, if like me you bought this without reading the reviews and are now only seeing them do not despair as you CAN make the seeds grow so not all is wasted. If you following the instructions below you should be able to get the seeds to germinate:1. The seeds need to be soaked 24 hours in DISTILLED water not tap water to hydrate.2. After this time you need to soak cotton wool pads or Kitchen towel in DISTILLED water.3. Place the seeds on top of the pads or wrap them in the kitchen towel. 4. Next, you can either wrap in cling film or pop them in a sandwich or freezer bag, ensure it is airtight.5. Leave the wrapped package on a warm window sill which gets moderate sunshine for approx. one to two weeks and you should see shoots.

Nothing grew
I recieved this product as a gift and nothing grew. I'm quite competent at growing plants from seeds and followed the instructions. I am very disappointed that there was no growth whatsoever. I noticed that it says that the compost only has enough nutrients for a week and also used plant feed to encourage growth.I would 100% not reccomend this product
