Secret de Maiko Face Cream 1oz Cream by Chidoriya

I think everyone's skin is a little different and has different needs. But this really met mine - along with the rice bran soap. I'm in my 30s and have been arrrouuunnd the block with skin care products. My sensitive, acne prone skin is looking better than ever in my life. I don't know what I'll do if they stop making or change these products!!

Wonderful product - I use this on my face after I shower and my face is so smooth, clear, and hydrated! Highly recommend. Again you don't need a lot to cover your whole face - just the tip of your pinkie's worth.

It’s neither a cream nor a balm. It has a VERY grainy waxy texture and the waxy grains do not dissolve nor can they be absorbed. The ingredients looked good though.Very disappointed. Wanted to return it but threw away the packaging and it’s a hassle.

Love this! I use it in the morning after the peach moon water toner. It sinks immediately into my skin and smells wonderful. No reaction or breakouts since I started using this. I'm loving these products! Also wanted to add I'm using the secret de geiko cream at night and I'm having fantastic results.

Great shea butter

I had innitially ordered the trial travel size version... and my initial impresion was average... i used it for my cuticles instead and did not think the trxture would be good. However, oh how naive I was. Because i had not known how to really apply it. or use it. Its not about it being milky and spready. The star aspect of this product is that a little goes a long way. 2, rubbing is actually notnasngood for the skin when applying the last step of skin care. Therefore this must be patted, not rubbed. 3 a little goes a loooooooooong way. Like the tip of a nail amount for me, melted between fingers, and patted through my face. I saw and felt immediate changes in my face. might add that i suffer from ohoto sensitive and heat sensitive contact dermatitis, so finding products that work and do not elicit a nasty painful reaction is difficult. Not with this one. While La roche possay is effective for sensitive skin I did not see much improvement in its texture. But this? scars, pimples, uneveness, even black heads were gone. Dry patches as well. Chidoriya is if not the best brand Ive used and I have used high end ones like Cle de Peau. I discovered that with good skinncare less make up is neded (but never sunblock or screen thats a must ppl!). And whenever i wear this my relatives and friends would even ask why inwould wear makeuo to bed or what makeup I would be waring, only ti be surprised to know, it wasnt makeup.Although this also makes an excellent base for makeup. As the name sugests this was for the maiko makeup base. That being said it one day occured to me to mix my loose mineral with this and apply it. Let me say: heavenly was the result. Deffinitely will buy for the rest of my life if God allows.

I'd encountered this company in a search for skin products that were pure, simple, and made with artisan care. I used to use the Creme Mask with shea butter and immortelle essential oil from L'Occitaine, but they discontinued it. I currently use both of Chidoriya's creams. I use Secret of Maiko at night, and Secret of Geiko for day. I'd first tried samples from their site, and was amazed at the improvements in my skin. Dry skin patches healed, replaced with soft glowing skin.There is no water in these creams, so an open mind and spirit of exploration are necessary, but these will be rewarded. They also will travel well. A small scoop is provided, but one can also scrape a small amount with the back of your thumb nail, let this warm on your palm, then apply. It melts and spreads easily. The warmth of your hands will help it penetrate. I am really enjoying these creams, and highly recommend them to other women.With so many cosmetics and toiletries disappointing with chemicals linked to breast and other cancer, what we use every day in our private rituals must be pure, nurturing, safe and effective. Secret of Maiko, and Secret of Geiko meet these requirements. I will be a repeat customer. These products are a pleasure to use.
