speeds up the job at affordable price.
I bought this tool over a year ago after a rough time with my employer and a taping project.(I'm now self employed) I can tape but usually need 4 coats to do a good job. he insisted I stop on 3 and then lay it on me that it isn't good enough. I thought I'd upgrade my equipment to try and upgrade my finish. it certainly sped up the process still think I need 4 coats but with this applying the compound so I can just go back and smooth it out. it turned a day project into a few hour project allowing for the margins to handle the extra time of a 4th coat without braking the bank.

Works great! Very easy to use makes mudding way faster
I've done drywall many times, but I am in no way an expert. I bought a cheaper version and it sucked. Returned it and got this one. I was sceptical of my skills and of the tool. I pulled it out of the box and put it to work. It worked great! Flew through walls and ceilings in minutes. Next to no sanding in between coats. I plan on getting the 6" and 8" box for my next job. The handle is long so it's a little awkward for walls, but I plan on also getting the adjustable handle. Great product for reasonable price

Got the job done, but cheaply made
Finally used this. I bought it to try it out didn’t know how it would work. It gets the job done but it’s cheaply made. As i was using it. The rubber wheel fell off had to fix it and then the handle kind of broke. It’s still useable and got the job done. I definitely think its a great time saver, but i think it might be worth it to invest in the better brands. And would get the pump because it gets messy without the pump. And that will save you time also.

Something Just Isn't Right
I'm not a drywall pro but I'm not a novice either. This is my 1st time using a flat box and I've done more damage to the drywall than getting mud on the joint. No instructions in the box so I had to use Youtube. I think the seals are too tight. Even when empty, you have to use extreme pressure to get the flap to move. Once the flap starts moving it gets easier to depress but still requires a lot of pressure. Anyone with suggestions to what I'm doing wrong or is the box defective?

Nice product
Very nice. Took a little getting used to, won’t do seams again without it
