I used this in a water fountain that we’ve had for years that was custom made. The pump went out quite a while ago and I have had the absolute worst time finding a pump that would fit and was quiet enough to use. While this pump isn’t silent, the waterfall sound does hide the hum. The flow is perfect for my application, but I do not know how well it would do if you needed a lot of water pushed.

This is not a self priming pump and takes a little practice for efficiency. No on/off switch but I have it plugged into a power strip with a switch. I added a small ball valve at the outlet of the hose to help reduce the sparse water. The hose is a little thin and can kink if you are not careful but for the money it’s an awesome buy and makes brewing even easier. My setup currently is a 3.5 gallon SST pot of a small single propane burner (already had both) and the hot water pump to rinse the grain in our electric Brewer’s Edge Mash & Boil that has its own recirculating pump built in. Works great, but is just not durable. I use it to circulate pool water for a solar heater during the day only in the summer on solar power. The first one lasted a little over 1 year and the second one lasted less than 1 year.

I realize this is listed as a circulation pump, but I expected a small suction head height. It has absolutely none. Be aware of that if you need to pump f.rom one tank to another or anything like that. Priming the pump doesn't work either. I'm actually using it in a closed system pump cool water through a heat exchanger so it,l work for me. The pump itself looks to be pretty cheaply built so I'm definitely leaving my system adaptable for a replacement. Didn't set my expectations too high at the price so I'm not disappointed

Work great until it didn't. Stopped working a few days before the return window so hopefully seller sees this and sends me a replacement. Maybe a bad batch off the assembly line so who knows.

Bought this pump to put on my kid's water table. It would have been easier to just use a submersible pump, but I didn't want the power cord hanging over the edge of the table so I wanted to get an inline pump. I did not read that this pump was not self-priming so I was a little confused at first, but once I figured that out it has worked great.

Needed something to power my greenhouse drip feeders for small green house. Coming form rain barrels I needed a pump with pressure I could put on a timer. Works GREAT!
