If your sprocket is a TruVativ and has an adjustment Pin on it. You will need the Machine your own notch on the ring or the Bolt holes will not align with the 104 BCD sprocket. Also it is made of a very soft aluminum and will bend very easy, so be careful. I had to order a set of spacers for the Bolt set that came with it, so it would not interfere with the deraler. I don't expect it to last too long, and will probably have to order one made of a stronger, thicker aluminum after it gets bumped by something. I will see how it holds up.

These chain guards are too thin to be durrable. However, I doubled them up and I think it will do the job.

Holes lined up to mount, but I needed to notch it out around the crank. After filing it, the bolts and spacers did not allow it to be mounted securely. Waste of money and time!

Didn’t work. Pops out the chain from the sprocket.Update 10/13/2020It will work if you purchase an extended length chainring bolt with a washer to gap the chain guard from the exterior chain ring.

Take note, this is a chainring guard so it's in addition to the existing chainring on the bike. With that, the bolts are too small for the guard. I had to buy longer chainring bolts separately to be able to use it which cause some delay in my setup.

i returned this product because the size was not right. but the product seemed well made.. but i was able to see hiw well it could have done against rocks on thr trail, but I think it would have been good enough.

I purchased a red 32 - 34 chain guard. It is being used with an IFX crankset and a 30 tooth chainring. They perform well together. The color is close to the others. I am very happy with it. My mongoose XR-pro looks great.

As described I ordered it for my 38 Tooth outer Chain ring and it fits on the 104 BCD although I used the slightly longer screws/bolts supplied !In use it is about 1mm above the top or 2mm Diameter larger than my chainring with chain in cog so acts as I wanted and is clear of the Front Derailleur . . . First ride without the old Bike clips . . . Yes trousers got a bit oily but nothing like they would have done and no snagging !Most important and what's missing is that it is a 2mm THICK FLAT Round PLATE !So if you hit it and bend it . . . Don't ride into Trees or Rocks ! ! !

Guard itself is made ok, but if like me you have a triple crank triple chainrings you will need longer bolts as the ones that come with it are to short for a triple Chainring set up.

Cardboard is stronger than this thing. What a joke
