Very little emphasis or information regarding very key events of Deep Purple's or Gillan's lifespan. Line up changes are given little attention. Disappointing. Three Stars only because it is about Purple and that alone merits praise.

Vol.1と合わせて購入。こちらは1980年から2011年までのバンド史…なのはいいのだけれど、なぜか1994年以降のDeep Purpleについては記述が手薄。その分、Blackmore（Rainbow、Blackmore's Night）、Whitesnake、Glenn Hughesに関する記述が多くなっています。1994年以降のPurple、1980年代に比べたらずっと安定していて充実しているんですがね。昨年（2018年）日本で出たバンド史本もそうだったように、きっと著者の好みが現れてしまったんでしょう。それが残念!!
