Authentic Cuban flavors that remind me of home
I'm a white guy who grew up in Florida and that means around a lot of Cubans. I purposely wanted to hang out at their houses because their moms were always home, and they were always cooking. At 10AM they'd be getting dinner ready, slow simmering some meat of stew or beans. The glorious odors stayed with me when I moved away to Arkansas where I don't think there are any Cubans at all. This El Ebro soup is legit. I like to eat it with some rice and a cup of coffee. Delish. I should have married a Cuban woman. Don't cry for me, I married a Filipino woman instead, and I can tell you that their food is equally amazing. But sometimes you just gotta have some authentic Cuban or Puerto Rican food, and this soup hits that spot. Everything El Ebro makes is the best. Their black beans are equally excellent.

VERY much authentic Garbanzo potage
To claim POTAGE de GARBANZOS you need to include a LOT of stuff missing here BUT it was close. If you have Chorizo olive oil serrano etc at hand ADD it and you will have a nice POTAGE de GARBANZO.I added an egg and some vinegar. Egg made it thicker and the vinegar gave it punch
