APS 6.5in Side Armor Stainless Steel Running Boards Compatible with Toyota 4Runner 2010-2024 Limited Nightshade Edition & 19-24 TRD Sport & 10-13 SR5 (Nerf Bars Side Steps Side Bars)

I have a 2021 4Runner limited nightshade and these fit perfect. They clear the sideskirts by about 1/4 in and don’t stick down too far. Installation was super easy - took me about 30min by myself. They look great and are sturdy enough to not creak when I get out (220lb).

These look awesome. Very sturdy. Somewhat easy to install. It’s so much easier when someone helps you.

Fit perfect

Installed on my 2011 Toyota 4-Runner to Replace the "old" Round Tubular with a flat area covered in plastic to step on. The older Round Tubular Steps flat area with a flat Plastic step deteriorated from the Sun- the plastic cracked and fell off. These Step Sides are Rectangular Tubing, No Plastic Anything! And, they attach to the Body Reinforcement bolts vs the Old Round Tubular attached to the BODY BOLTS which has Now caused a "popping sound" at each of the 4 install points (the body bolt nuts had to be removed before installing the Old style Round Tubular step side- You had to Torque the BODY BOLTS. This Step Side Avoids Installing at a Crucial area- Yet, they are Firmly and Safely Installed. I highly recommend these.

Two stars vs one due to the customer service, initially. The recommended torque was too high in the ends of the square tubing popped off or the weld broke. I lowered the torque quite a bit, and then the second one popped off and broke where the weld broke. Went back-and-forth with the vendor they offered me a discount and they also canceled my exchange, which I feel is not OK. I have not heard from them about my discount for my refund or my endcap. They suggested I will receive.

Easy to install they look great too.

These look great and are super light weight. We’ll see how long they last, but they seem quality enough for the money. These are a perfect fit for the Limited model. For those saying that you lose step space - this is an issue for the Limited model and not the steps fault. Any step will have reduced surface area available due to the Limited rocker panel.

The first pick is a before. Lightweight but seem sturdy so far a month in. Pretty simple to install. They look nice. At first, was unsure about the downward overhang since they are two piece but it gives it more of a rugged look. I wasn't interested in the traditional ones with the chrome. Glad I got these. I actually pulled up to another 4 Runner the other day that had these on it. It's a nice addition.
