The vast majority of badge reels I've seen attach to your badge with a flexible piece of plastic that snaps shut. The plastic eventually tears and then it's not long until you have to replace it or worse, lose your badge somewhere! After having to replace my old reel twice, I decided to look for something sturdier, and was very pleased to find these, not just because of the heavy-duty metal clip that attaches to my badge, but also because it has the key ring, which has been a very convenient place to keep my work key, and has been a huge upgrade from the keychain I had been using. The designs are adorable; I was so happy to find one with an owl! Mission not just accomplished, but exceeded.The reels themselves are standard flimsy plastic badge reels, but they've held up ok for the six months or so since I ordered them -- none of them have had the problems reported by other buyers. That said, I wish the reel felt as solid as the clip hanging from it. I also wish I could have opted out of the plastic sleeves that came with them, because they are the wrong orientation for my employer's badges -- the sleeves were portrait orientation, my badge has a landscape orientation -- such a waste. For these reasons, I can only give them 4 out of 5 stars.I didn't need all three reels for myself, so I kept my favorite and gave the other two to coworkers, one of whom was a new hire and my new officemate -- I was pleased to be able to give her a small welcome gift, and she appreciated receiving it. =)

I just received my new badge holders and retractable reels. They are gorgeous! I love the word of God reminders with the floral accents. It came with the clear, vinyl badge holders. The retractable reels are, obviously, the best part. They have belt clips which are tight enough to clip on the pocket or neckline of your top, as well. The reel containers seem suitable but the cord is what worries me might fray or break over time. At the moment, I only need to use 2 at a time so I do have the third for backup. I'm a radiology student so I need the extra space for the things I have to wear with my badge. It's great they came in a package, together. Each reel was protected by bubble wrap bags and the package the 3 came in is a sturdy little ziplock bag that I can store the unused one in without worry about it getting scratched. So far, I'm very pleased with my order. We all need reminding what God says for us and to us. I only hope that I represent Him, well.

They were sturdy and nice. Just too heavy for my use.

I just recently bought these on 4/29/19 and I have to say I am disappointed. I REALLY love the designs of these badge holders but they obviously have some sort of flaw. I bought a retractable reel badge holder from Walmart in 2014 and it lasted all the way up until January of this year. It was around $15 and I thought they felt very cheap in comparison to these ones... however it is now just a COUPLE days over a month since purchasing these and they have both broken. They both lasted 2 weeks before breaking.... 2 weeks. Now these are described as heavy duty, however I really feel like that is 100% not the case at all. I literally put my work id on the holder and that is it, so for it to break in such a short time period is embarrassing. I will say, I am going to continue to buy these though because I like the feeling of them and they have nice designs.I hope that they fix the holder in the future, on both of mine the part that broke is the little sphere piece at the end of it wire.

I have been using this for my work keys and ID for a couple of months now. It works really well for what I need. However, at the beginning, the retracting string often got stuck, and I had to tug on it to the point I worried about it breaking for it to release. Seems to be a pretty good product overall if you can get past the sticking phase.

I searched Amazon for days trying to find an ID badge holder like this one; had a clip and keychain...not the plastic ID badge snap. Who knew they were so hard to find. I wanted one with a clip on the back so I could clip it to my necklace lanyard or my pants depending on my needs. I wasn't thrilled with the design choices but chose one from the seller I liked.I received these yesterday and I already have issues. 1) It's larger than I expected. I thought it would be about the size of a quarter but it's bigger. 2) The clip on the back is much larger as well, and it almost didn't work on my necklace, but I made it work. 3) They eyehole on the bottom where the reel comes out has already fallen out and I've worn this for about 4 hours. I might try to super glue it on so it stays. 4) The quality of the actual art isn't that great. I'm not sure how they attach it, but the one I'm wearing has a nick in the top of the black part. The 2nd one I received had sharp edges around the actual picture. I didn't wear that one because I was worried it would catch and lift up.I'm really disappointed. At first glance it was exactly what I was looking for but the quality is just not there.

These badge holders are so amazing! Very heavy duty, which is great since I work in place that they can broken easily! Not cheap and flimsy like some of other ones I have ordered. The whole thing is metal and it even has a little clip to hold your keys on it. I really love it! Absolutely worth the price. I even received a thank you email from the seller! I will be shopping with this seller again for sure!

Excellent little kit, includes holder with other bits & pieces. Nice colour lanyard, strong and easy to fasten/ unfasten, nicely presented. Good bargain, well worth it, recommended.

It looks nice but feels like it should cost £3 not £13. Overpriced for what it is.

Very disappointed. The product did come on time but they both broke. The first one within the week and the second within a month. The wiring stuck on the first one and would not retract and the detached from the second one. Too bad they were beautiful to look at.

Like the look of the graphics. Like flamingos. But disappointed that both stopped being able to use to swing out and retract back. Now it’s just a cumbersome lanyard. With a cute flamingo design.
